The Live FAB Life Podcast is a weekly show that examines healthy living by Human Design and makes Human Design relatable with practicable and actionable applications in health, work, and everyday life.
With 20+ years of working in the tech industry and eight years of health coaching, I’ve had first-hand experience with and been witness to the effects that stress, fatigue, and burnout have on our well-being.
Blending a bespoke mix of Human Design with Functional Nutrition has taught me how to optimize my health, find balance, and correctly use my energy, falling into an unapologetic life of freedom and empowerment.
Take a few minutes and practice self-care by tuning into this week’s episode with Naomi Nakamura, a Health By Human Design coach in the San Francisco Bay Area.

At the start of the year, I started a new practice to bring more mindfulness to my day. It’s quickly become my favorite way to practice self-observation.
In this episode, I’m sharing what that ritual is, my biggest self-discovery to date, and how this daily exercise is helping me develop a positive mindset and bring more compassion and kindness into my day.

283: Are Tracking Apps Harmful?
Are tracking apps harmful?
For the longest time, I didn’t know how to listen to my body.
In this episode, I discuss how tracking apps gave me data - completely personalized insights that helped me understand my body in real time every day.
I share how they taught me how to quantify my body functions in ways that aren’t obvious, ultimately helping me gain self-awareness and body awareness—not how some magazine, social media influencer, book, or TV show tells me how I “should” feel.

282: Six Misconceptions About Human Design
When speaking of their Human Design, I often hear language classifying things as “good” or “bad,” but there isn’t anything “good” or “bad” in one’s Human Design.
So, in the episode, I clarify the following misconceptions about Human Design:
Defined Centers are “good” Undefined Centers are “bad” Influence is “bad” My Human Design doesn’t resonate with me, so it’s “wrong” I’ve been conditioned, so I did something “wrong” There’s always a “like for like” answer …and how to reframe your perception of them.

But nothing changes if nothing changes, and that’s why setting goals and resolutions can seem trivial.

Loved it!
I love all things human design so I found her while researching and realized that she spoke about so many things that I resonate with !
Lost me with human design
Not interested in human design and I hope Naomi chooses some new topics soon! The show used to be so interesting. (I did have a reading and it didn’t resonate with me… not dissing those who find something useful in it…)
Poorly Produced
I’m sure this podcast has potential for amazing content, but I just can’t get over the terrible quality. The echoes, the straining to hear and the poor patch ins of guest speakers make this sound like it’s being recorded with two cans and a string. And unfortunately it’s more work to try and process what’s being said than actually being able to absorb and enjoy the content.
