Both educational and entertaining

I enjoy these podcasts as well as the videos on YouTube. I find perweb to be not only informative on the papers and concepts that they discuss, but hearing multiple perspectives provides for an entertaining experience as well.

Moreover, I also admire the fact that they encourage listeners to participate and engage in the conversation if they choose to do so. This makes it reminiscent of a Socratic seminar where everyone is encouraged to speak, engage, and learn.

As a person who is interested in perfusion, this podcast is helpful in exposing myself to perfusion related topics. I also enjoy the fact that the hosts ask each other hypothetical questions about what they would do in a particular situation. This is also helpful because if I was ever placed in a situation similar to those that they discuss, I would already have the ideas of several certified clinical perfusionist as references.

I believe that people who are not particularly interested in perfusion would also benefit greatly from listening to PerfWeb. This is because on occasion, they would diversify on topics that they discuss to other fields in medicine. I’d say that if you have a remote interest in medicine in general than PerfWeb is definitely worth a listen.
