Perfect for a Slow Morning

I love how Brooke and her guests take us on a journey in her episodes. I feel like I’m sitting next to a close friend at a picnic table, sipping good coffee in the early morning light when I listen to this show.

Real wisdom for when life gets tough

This podcast has real wisdom to offer about some of the toughest things a person can experience - the death of a loved one, heartbreak, having your life’s plans upended leaving you with uncertainty about the future. Equally impressive, the author is able to offer practical suggestions for emotionally grappling with and seeing the spiritual value of these experiences. Episode 3 is my favorite so far.

Super nice

This podcast offers a gentle push for listeners to focus on themselves and accept whatever feelings they may be experienecing in the moment. Brooke does this through example, giving clear and thorough tales of her experience and how she has moved through and with pain.

She makes it clear that it is not an easy task to progress through difficult feelings which makes it even more valuable. Ackowledging that progress is hard is just as important as knowing that progress is often needed in our lives. Highly recommend for those experiencing grief, loss, or just in need of reflection.
