    Jihyun Park's story is one of determination and courage. Jihyun was born in North Korea in 1968 and later escaped there not once but twice.

    Growing up under one of the world's longest-running dictatorships, she’s seen events in her life that would break most of us. From witnessing public executions, being a victim of human trafficking and later being imprisoned. Jihyun's resilience kept her going across her 10 year journey of escaping North Korea to making it to the UK in 2008.

    Jihyun continues to raise awareness of the plight of North Korean women and the criminal injustice against humanity. Jihyun's story is one that needs to be shared with the world. Join Gian Power as he interviews Jihyun Park to hear her remarkable story.

    Reebok. One of the most iconic sports brands in the world and now it's time to meet Joe Foster who founded the company back in 1958! 



    Joe was born into a family of shoemakers who date back into the 1800s, his grandfather also JW Foster who created the first spiked running shoe. His family would go on to provide running shoes and trainers to athletes as early as the 1904 and 1908 Olympics! 



    Since founding Reebok, Joe found himself taking the brand to America and later globally. Today Gian Power interviews Joe to learn about the early stories in Joe’s life, how Reebok was created and the highs and lows of starting a company in the 1950s to now being valued up to $2 billion dollars.

    Mala Tribich’s story is one of hope and inspiration. Mala was born in 1930 and shares her story of surviving the Holocaust that saw the murder of over six million Jews.

    Gian Power interviews Mala to hear her firsthand story of the Holocaust as she witnessed the sheer brutality of the Nazi regime and the devastating impact for her own family, at just the young age of 9. From the Ghettos of Poland to surviving Bergen Belsen Concentration Camp, Mala joins Gian to share her story and discuss the dangers of unchecked antisemitism, race hatred, and dehumanisation.

    Mala Tribich MBE is an educator for The Holocaust Educational Trust - a charity whose mission is to educate every person from every background about the Holocaust and the important lessons to be learned for today.
