THINQ Media Podcast

THINQ Media (formerly Q Ideas) educates, equips and empowers Christian thought leaders to create conversations that lead to wisdom. We do this through our new digital platform, a podcast network, and a series of regional and national events designed to convene leaders around topics that matter to Christians today. Listen to the THINQ Media Podcast to learn, explore and consider how you can be faithful in our cultural context.
Ep 187 about the book “Reparations”
04/07/2021
This episode of Q is the best discussion of the subject of reparations I’ve ever heard. It is also going to be the mostly widely-shared podcast episode in my library. My favorite part of the episode is where Micah corrects an assumption in Gabe’s question that Black people will benefit most from the practice of repair, responding rightly that all believers will benefit from this discussion and work.
Keep Your Mind Sharp

Thought-provoking, challenging in all the best ways, full of content that really inspires you to grow in your faith and life in so many ways.
Profoundly inspiring

I depend on the Q podcast for a gentle (and yet sometimes alarming) presentation of Christian thinking and soulful responses.
Conserned
08/02/2019
I love listening to the stories and seeing what the Holy Spirit is doing to our family. But I still feel like I have to discern the topics and decide which talks are going in the right direction. Calling it racist and calling it climate change are controversial, so to have a talk without a discussion seems to be one-sided. Instead I would like to see conversations in between competing views, but overall I give it a three star, five stars if I didn’t disagree with some topics.
Love it!

These are the conversations we need to be having.
A Must Listen

This podcast is a must listen for the believer and the skeptic. It is very well done and grounded in solid theology while covering many topics. I'm grateful for it and learn a lot with each episode.
Best podcast around

I listen to podcasts all day long as I work. This podcast series is by far my favorite. I have learned so much from Q about how to properly interact with culture. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Great information

Learning more every episode. Glad these guys are trying to see both sides.
Reasonable and responsible approach

I'm not familiar with Q's typical approach but I was well pleased with this thoughtful and responsible handling of a touchy subject. Well executed and seemed to make an effort to illuminate both sides of the gay debate. Look forward to hearing more
Missed Opportunity
01/28/2016
When I listened to Episode 000, I was so excited that an intentionally diverse group of Christians gathered to have a conversation about how to engage culture regarding issues of race. I'm disappointed that a similar approach wasn't used for the following episodes about how to engage culture regarding issues of sexuality. Imagine if Episode 000 had been designed like the other episodes. We would have listened to Christians with one perspective discuss their own ideas and comment on sound bites from Christians with other perspectives, without actually engaging in a conversation. Q is about staying curious, thinking well, and advancing good. The best way to engage "The Gay Conversation" would be to gather an intentionally diverse group of Christians in terms of gender identity and sexual orientation. These believers would be able to listen to one another (stay curious), learn from one another (think well), and see one another as brothers and sisters with a shared identity in Christ and a shared mission to build the kingdom of God (advance good).
