E016: Embracing Being 'Extra'
"Extra" is a slang term for being over the top, and by true definition, it means far exceeding the minimum. Being "extra" is a good example of the concepts of self-worth and confidence. But remember, ‘extra’ is up for interpretation. What is ‘extra’ to one may be ordinary to another. The reality is a lot of what happens to us and how we interpret things is the same way, it's all up for our interpretation. Do you want to hear how to go from introverted to ‘extra’? It’s possible. You don't need anyone's permission to be powerful, bold, or brilliant, so I hope you'll claim the title of Extra today. Let's dive in and see if you are ready to accept your new designation!

They say every struggle is a sign of a missing system. But as creatures of habit, how long does it take us to appreciate the changes when we "create" a solution to a missing system? The road to any recovery can be long and hard, whether it is pneumonia, covid, or recovering from a broken bone. So today's podcast talks about our body's innate desire for balance and healing and our mind's desire to skip the hard parts and just get a quick fix! We’ll cover two points to help you get to that fix with sustainable results.

E012: When "Stuff" Becomes Stressful
Our extended body, or our surroundings, have a powerful impact on our physical and emotional health. Each day we are in constant contact with the environment around us. From the knick-nacks that fill our home to the piles of paper in our office, whether we realize it or not, in addition to impacting our well-being, our surroundings subconsciously also influence how we behave and interact. The spaces we put ourselves in can foster peace of mind, healthy living and life satisfaction. Following the principles of Ayurveda and streamlining a few things in your environment can have some impressive, and quick, results. This episode focuses on what we visually see around us and how it makes us feel. We’ll also look at what it is that makes most of us clutter magnets.

E011: Your Secret Weapon In Relationships
Usually, people don’t refer to weapons and relationships in the same sentence, but honestly, anytime you are dealing with another person and everything they bring to the table, what they say and don’t say, you are going to need a few tools, or weapons, to make everyone happy.:) As humans, we are all driven by emotions. All the logic, all the raw intelligence you have, well, you can throw it out the window when it comes to relationships. It all comes down to emotions. And all emotions derive from needs. From there, it’s a no-brainer to figure out how to approach interactions. This podcast we discuss the four fundamental emotional needs and how to use them to create more fulfilling relationships.
