    38 Trademarks

    38 Trademarks

38 Trademarks applied for by Donald Trump were approved by China, after he was elected President. Spring Chang was Trump's Beijing-based lawyer for the transactions.

Emoluments Clause in the Constitution, just in case you can't quite recall it word for word:

From Article I, Section 9:  No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any KIng, Prince, or foreign state.

I don't know where a Queen or Princess would fit in.

    Don't worry: they'd be representative(s) of a foreign state.

You Have To Believe What You See And Hear

You Have To Believe What You See And Hear

You can't continue to be fooled by the demagogue, the cult leader, who tells you to believe him, not what you see and/or hear. With your own functioning senses.

    A spiritual poem.

'You Must Believe What You See And Hear' is today's Trump Poem.

    Preet Bharara

    Preet Bharara

As Donald Trump freaks out, holding his maskless rallies and tweeting about how he could garner multimillion dollar donations from corporations for favors he could do for them, it is a good time to commemorate Preet Bharara, former US Attorney for the Southern District of NY. The New York Times called him one of the "nation's most aggressive and outspoken prosecutors of public corruption and Wall Street Crime" during his tenure.

Bharara had been asked to remain in his post by the Trump transition team in November 2016, but on 2nd thought decided to fire him instead in March 2017 as he might be investigating the Trump Organization, operating out of Manhattan, in the heart of the Southern District of New York.

'Preet Bharara' is today's Trump Poem of the Day. It is included with many of these podcast poems in '"Believe Me" - Trump Poems Volume 1,'  which is available in both hard copy and ebook form from the various usual sources.

    Short Attention Spans

    Short Attention Spans

Well, we made it to the future! And look at where we find ourself. Too much technology, some people don't even know their own phone numbers. We have to rely on our phone, atrophying our memory. Impairing our ability to think? Be critical of what is transpiring before our eyes. There so many lies to weed through. Especially those from our President. Who hit the 20,000 mark back in mid July. The Washington Post has been tallying them up. I'll post the new count when I read the upcoming report.

Meanwhile, Trump is so bad, Michael Cohen in his book 'Disloyal' discusses how Trump believes his own lies. He keeps repeating them over and over and over to himself and the sycophants around him.

So here we are today, partially because too many of us have 'Short Attention Spans'  - - today's Trump Poem.

    Exiled To Siberia

    Exiled To Siberia

Getting closer to the elections, our candidates are out on the campaign trail. Trump at his rallies. Saying anything that comes into his head to please and excite his base of followers. A stream of consciousness emerging from his lying mouth, wherefrom over 20,000 lies and false claims have been spread to those in earshot of his voice. Yesterday saying if he loses to Joe Biden, who he said was the worst presidential candidate ever in the history of the USA (projecting again), maybe he should leave the country. Why did he offer such words? Freudian slip? That would make many Americans very happy. But there has to be more behind his off the cuff remark than a mere question lacking significant context. He does owe $410 million to someone or some entity. There's the moneylaundering allegations sloshing around in the background. There's the Russian hacking of our elections during the last four years that Trump denied at Helsinki in front of the whole world. Trusting the word of a murderous KGB-trained dictator over our own intelligence services!

Remember what Trump said about firing the NFL players who kneeled during the playing of the national anthem? That they were SOB's? Angering many men who risk bodily injury every day on the football field to entertain us fans. We should all know that Colin Kaepernick started the act of kneeling to honor the fallen, as they do when a military person has fallen. As he was thinking and respecting the terrible racist killings of black people by police guns.

Yes, there actually is a Siberian basketball league that attracts foreign players, including black Americans!

    'Exiled To Siberia'  -  It could happen! . . . .

Lies Flowing Like An Infinite River

Lies Flowing Like An Infinite River

Donald Trump in front of an audience, cannot stop himself from saying anything to please, to connect with his audience. Lies abundantly flow like an infinite river. We now have a CURE for Covid-19 he told his NBC interviewer on television last night. Untrue. We have drugs that ameliorate symptoms, like he received Regeneron and Remdesivir, with a little anti-inflammatory steroid on the side: dexamethasone. He doesn't know who QAnon is. He just re-tweeted someone else's tweet. He had something going on in his lungs, but he wouldn't say it was pneumonia, or when he last tested negative for Covid before he became sick and then tested positive and ended up at Walter Reade Hospital in our nation's capital. But not before exposing himself and his coronavirus particles to who knows how many people??

'Lies Flowing Like An Infinite River' is today's Trump Poem.
