The Hunger Scale is the magical thing that helps us know when to eat and when to stop eating.
Instead of listening to a clock or an app or a rigid schedule some fitness app gave you, you listen to your… drum roll please… body!!!! Yes! You listen to your body.
Your body is SO good at telling you when you should eat and when you've had enough food especially when you are eating the right foods that help balance out your hormones and reduce cravings… It makes listening to your body SO much easier.

Step #3: Plan for the refined carbohydrates and sugar you love this holiday season!!!
I am a Weight Loss Coach… I’ve helped my clients lose well over 700 pounds and I am telling you, as part of your Holiday Protocol I want you to plan to eat the holiday treats you love.
In the Weight Loss by Brittany World… part of your protocol is including off protocol things on your plan, 24 hours in advance, and enjoying the heck out of them. Guilt free.
So think about the things you love. Not the stuff that is “eh…” I mean the thing that you love the most. For me? My Dad’s Dilly Bread and my husband’s Peanut Butter Pie and some seasonal high quality ice cream are going to be at the top of my list.
I am going to make a plan for them and enjoy them.

Holiday Protocol Step #1
I used to gain AT LEAST 5-15 pounds EVERY YEAR from Halloween to New Year’s.
It all started with leftover halloween candy.
And Halloween candy would become Christmas cookies and cocktails..
I’d gain about 1-2 pounds per week, or about 15# in 2 months.
In other words, I was starting off the new year with an extra 15 pounds to lose and a lot of guilt.
That stopped 3 years ago.
At first I was unsure how to do it….
I had never gone through an entire holiday season without having to retire my jeans IN January and live in sweatpants UNTIL February when I could fit back into them…
And I thought..
How will I go to holiday parties, have fun and not feel deprived?
How will I enjoy my favorite holiday foods without needing a larger scrub size on January 1st?
Then I figured it out…
This is how I did it in a few simple steps:
I created my protocol, a week’s worth of planned meals, and a shopping list to make cooking and grocery shopping easy
I stuck to my protocol
I lost weight
