Women of Contradictions is a weekly podcast discussing the inherent contradictions within a bevy of topics from cancel culture to body image, feminism to beauty trends. With curiosity as our north star, we will hold the contradictions in ourselves and in culture - which we wish to be celebrated, not criticized.
Women of Contradictions is a combination of educational and intellectual, frivolous and irreverent, but above all entertaining and thought provoking. We hope listeners walk away with the same feeling one has after having two martinis with their best friend.

The Original Fashion Influencers
Yes, it's us, talking about fashion again. This week Britt tries to restrain herself from giving a full history of fashion, but dives into the world and influence of "Haute Couture". We continue our discussion of celebrities, and their relationships to fashion houses, going back to early film stars. We also ponder if these luxury houses are starting to lose their artistic and prestigious appeal when so much of what is now created is for mass consumption and appeal.

Astrology with Nadine Jane
Our first guest on Women of Contradictions, Nadine Jane is joining us today. A graphic designer turned phenomenal astrologer. We chat about the genesis of astrology, what exactly is a birth chart, and why she does a lot of her readings from the rising sign instead of the sun sign, the inherent contradictions of astrology and why she likes to use astrology to reflect instead of predict. We cannot recommend her 2024 readings enough, which you can find here. So we could spend more time chatting to Nadine, we only did one pressing topic each this week for our "three things."

Easy and insightful
Love listening to Britt and V chat on all things interesting. They can go from a pop culture conversation to deep dive on emotional intelligence. Cannot recommend this podcast enough!
Feels like having an intelligent conversation with friends
This podcast strikes the perfect balance between the fun and frivolous and the intellectually stimulating. I walk away after listening feeling smarter (haha) like I’ve engaged in a stimulating conversation with good friends!
Living in the liminal!!
A necessary new show from two strong women who grapple with some of the more important topics facing women today. What clearly comes thru is their love of language & learning & the challenge of living in the liminal (grey) as they encourage us all to strive to understand ourselves and our world better. Who knew the mental jiu-jitsu of holding two opposing things in one’s mind at once could actually be fun??! Listen & learn as they show us how!!
