History of Nurses PART TWO
Wound Care Karen and Mahsa Kharazi RN pick up right where they left off, about mid 1800s, as they discuss the history of nursing. Heading into modern nursing with Florence Nightingale, up to the Spanish Flu, Eliza Mahoney, M*A*S*H units, the history of regulation and licensure (RN/LPN/LVN), and the controversy/confusion surrounding the many educational pathways (diploma, ADN, BSN, MSN, etc)

I’m learning so much!

Awesome podcast!
I love the vision of spreading the word about the realness of wound care and real life experiences.
Everything you didn’t know you didn’t know about Woundcare!
I didn’t know what to expect when I started listening but very quickly it was like I was listening to a friend talk about her passion and having fun doing it! This nurse is a natural in front of a microphone and I don’t think there’s a topic she wouldn’t tackle (in Woundcare of course 😉) Her guest was well spoken and so knowledgeable. They had a natural rapport so it was easy to listen to and understand. I learned so many things I never knew😳 Before I knew it the podcast was over and I couldn’t wait for the next one! I wonder what the next topic will be ?🤔
