    Discovering Your Soul Purpose.

    A soul print is made up of your dreams and your destiny lived and conscious and not yet conscious. It is made of your past and all of your yesterday's. It is your successes, and especially your failures. It is your fear of fragility and vulnerability, as well as your grandiosity and larger than life yearnings. Your soul print is a song only you can sing the poem only you can write, and the way of being in the world, which is you and you alone. To impress your soul print, on the lips of reality is the highest goal of spiritual living.

    Clients that have been coming in to work with me lately have been talking about wanting to know their soul purpose? What are they supposed to do here? Is there such a thing as a purpose? How can I be more service oriented or do something in the world that is more fulfilling. How to manage anxiety or have better communication with their partner, or family. To feel more intimate during sex and also just in general with the Earth and life. To trust. These are all things that I've been seeing over and over and over again. But it really came up strong this week and I just thought I'd share this to remind us of all of that there is no one perfect path to unleashing your soul print on the lips of this reality or being you in the fullest and greatest expression.

    Avoiding Discomfort

    Welcome to One Degree Shift series – Episode 6 – What not to do if you are sitting in the discomfort

    Last week we introduced the challenge of sitting in discomfort – and what you can do in a positive way.

    Let’s also talk about what not to do – 


    If you run from these discomforts they won’t go away and in fact they might grow and feel even bigger. 
    Avoid “numbing” out to get rid of the feelings – drinking, eating, zoning out on social media. These activities don’t help you move forward, and you may even feel worse after them.
    Important to know that different people have different tolerance levels for discomfort. It can even be helpful to try to become more comfortable with discomfort in general by trying to be a person who is more willing to try new things. 
    You can come face to face with the feeling of discomfort and learn to better recognize.
    All situations in life are temporary – remind yourself you won’t be in the discomfort forever.

    Sitting in the Discomfort

    Welcome to One Degree Shift series – Episode 5 – Sitting in the Discomfort

    When you start making one-degree shifts, you are very likely going to end up in a place of discomfort. Don’t let that make you stop or back up

    Lets talk about how to sit in discomfort


    Acknowledge the feelings associated with the discomfort – Anger? Sadness? Discouraged? Call these feelings out and let them know you know they are there.
    Connect with your body and recognize how these are showing up in your body –tightness in throat, unsettled stomach, pacing,
    Breathe deeply and reassure your body it is only temporary. The discomfort is a journey – the steep hill you have to climb to get the beautiful view of the lake
    Imagine a warm blanket being wrapped around you – and maybe even around the discomforting emotions.
    Talk to the discomfort like a child – let it know it is okay to go away
    Identify an act of self-care you can do to help yourself accept the discomfort – call a friend,
    Take a walk in nature.

    This is your challenge for today, make a one-degree shift in the form of self-care.

    Are you proving yourself into paralysis?

    Are you proving yourself into paralysis?

    So how do you get out of paralysis?

    Basically, when you get into paralysis, you're proving yourself right about something that's future tripping, it hasn't happened yet, but you believe it's going to happen. It paralyzes you in the now and then you don't feel safe, you are stuck and don't do anything. You just created a conundrum in your mind and walked yourself out of action.

    A lot of time paralysis is deep and needs a lot of work but let's talk today about some simple steps to break the paralysis.

    Three steps to break paralysis


    List out what you fear or what you feel is looming out there.
    Take 3 minutes and jot down the worst that can happen – but only 3 minutes
    Now imagine yourself having completed what you feel stuck around – you accomplished the big project at work, you are in the relationship you want. 
    See yourself in success.
    Sit in that space
    Now come back and write down the one action you are going to take today.

    If you feel yourself getting stuck back in paralysis, keep repeating this process. Stay with that feeling of success. Keep seeing yourself in state of success. If you require something deeper, reach out for a session. I am here for you.

    Why do you get paralyzed?

    Today is the third episode of the One Degree Shift series – Episode 3 – Why do you get paralyzed?

    Many people come to me because they feel “stuck” - and I don’t mean a little stuck I mean totally paralyzed. In this episode I share what a session is like, outline the invisible cage and give some tips to unlocking yourself from it. If you are really feeling stuck like many of my clients, I encourage you to seek help to assist you. You do not have to do this alone.


    Do you feel totally stuck or paralyzed?
    Are you in a state of overwhelm? 
    Is every aspect of your life demanding your attention and you don’t know where to start?
    Do you put off making small decisions and those things have stacked up on top of one another and now the pile of decisions is massive?

    Paralysis can come from FEAR. Instead of hiding and letting the FEAR keep you in paralysis, you can make a one degree shift™.

    How do you know you are in paralysis?

    Face, embrace and embody the cage.


    What's going on?
    Meet the past
    Know the players
    Face what happened.
    Listen to your body
    Highlight the decision you made.
    Delete that from then until now
    Embody a whole new reality.

    When you are no longer locked in the fear or the paralysis. the shackles start to dissipate and melt away.

    Celebrate The One Degree Shift™

    Today is the second episode of the One Degree Shift series – Episode 2 – Celebrate The One Degree Shift™


    Last week I shared with you the incredible power of focusing on just one degree shift – one degree of change, one tiny step.
    We sometimes the power of the one degree shift because we don’t celebrate it. We tell ourselves “not enough” “not enough” “not enough”
    Instead of beating yourself about not overhauling your life in one day keep looking at the one degree shift you have made.
    How about in your relationship? What is the one degree shift you are wanting?
    Think how much easier to talk to your partner and ask them for a small change.
    Key to remember is that one degree is action – it is moving – it is changing.
    Stop and write down five things – maybe more. What are you are looking to change.
    Pause for a minute
    Now pick just one. Just one. And focus on it.
    Do the same tomorrow and again just pick one. Not two, just one.
    Imagine your life if you did this every day for a year. 1 day, 1 degree shift..
