Brutally Honest Review.

Joe Defranco's Industrial Strength show has been an inspiration and valuable source of information during my ongoing fitness journey. After stumbling across this podcast many months ago, I quickly abandoned other podcasts in the category and found myself mining Joe's archives for more and more knowledge. I wait impatiently each week for his new Thursday episode.
Joe has a natural ability to explain the topics and variables of the fitness realm with ease and clarity. After adopting many of his strategies into my own strength training routines and witnessing the incredible results, I've concluded that Joe not only has great oratory skill but the valuable knowledge base to back it up.
Thank You Coach.

Almighty Restrepo ,

My new number one!

I could feel the need to write this review brewing from the very first day I discovered this Podcast, which was less than two weeks ago, as I write this review. And not because Defranco regularly picks reviews for prices/free merch, which is actually really awesome by the way, but because as I continued to listen to new and backlog episodes alike, each one was better than the last. Mind you, I listened to a wide variety to topics ranging from EP #55 Triple H talks Training, EP #425 48 Muscle building, Injury-Preventing, Longevity-Boosting Tips, EP #49 How To Write Effective Training Programs, to EP # 445 The Top 7 Exercises for Maintaining Function As We Age, Defining "Longevity Training" and More! Joe D. speaks in such a genuinely clear and obvious way that you can hear the fact that he has 1) Lived the experiences that comes with such knowledge, 2) Demonstrates that he practices what he preaches and 3) Has the education & Passion to back it all up.

This Podcast has immediately become my new number one. More than that, it's a Podcast that isn't a simple momentary escape or form of passive entertainment, but rather an invaluable resource of knowledge that you can incrementally, over the long term or immediately implement into your own life. It has challenged my thinking and improved my understanding on more than one occasion. I should state that I am a 4 year Exercise Science degree graduate and while I have chosen a different career path I still remain true to my personal fitness & Health goals. I consider myself very well educated in this area and regularly program for myself as well as consistently review my form/techniques and correct as needed, etc. That said, I have found myself regularly taking notes, trying to capture the many free gems that Joe D. often shares on this Podcast. He is a true Legend. If you didn't already know, now you do.

Note: I actually listen to my Podcasts on another service. I'm writing my review here because .... who doesn't love free Merch! lol. Last point, is that I was born & raised in New York and will forever consider myself a New Yorker with pride and I didn't even hesitate in writing this review even knowing that Joe D. is from New Jersey!

Marlon Almaden ,

Thanks Joe D

My week is not complete without listening to Joe D deliver some “in the trenches” training content that are also backed with exercise science. As a person with low back issues, Joe D’s information has been invaluable in allowing me to train pain-free without hindering my training progress. I’ve been incorporating his longevity principles for awhile now and I’ve noticed that I feel better now in my 40s than I did in my 20s. Thanks Joe for everything that you do.
