Entertaining

Mark & Drew seem really knowledgeable until they speak about something you’re an expert in… Really entertaining podcast nonetheless, but any time Mark spits out a percentage, take it with a grain of salt.
A great accompaniment to the books.

Pros 1) authentic and honest 2) great life advice 3) entertaining 4) funny 5) similar feel to marks books (can’t wait for the next one by the way) Cons 1) boring guests (the episodes with just mark and drew are better) - I had to end the episode with the astronaut early because it was just her going on about how amazing she is and I got bored 2) Some of the advice is great for if you are wealthy, not so much if you are a regular person. For example, mark often talks about his health transformation but he admits he’s invested tens of thousands of pounds into it and also he lives in one of the most sought after and healthy places in the world - California. Sometimes I wish the advice was more realistic for someone who perhaps lives in an area of the world which is less glamorous, wealthy etc. it’s easy to get ripped when you live in a beautiful sunny place and you are wealthy.

Thank you for what you are doing with this podcast. It is really helping me to navigate some of the biggest challenges of my life so far. I would encourage anyone out there to give this podcast a listen. I think you will find at least one episode, but probably more, that really helps you to think about your life, how you have been living it and how you want to live it going forward. I hope everyone listening finds what they are looking for. Thank you Mark and Drew.

Quite literally had to stop my daily chores, sit down and listen to you discuss, probe and explore! It’s made me rethink and reside how I think, walk and talk about myself, my plans and my future. Thank you.
Honest and impactful life advice in a fun and accessible format

The Subtle Art podcast is one of several that I follow in the life advice / self-help podcasting space. They all cover similar themes and have similar guests. But what I particularly enjoy about The Subtle Art is the down-to-earth humour and Mark's honest but playful outbursts of righteous indignation. It gives the podcast an authenticity that others lack and never fails to make me laugh. In a world full of endless self-help advice, most of which is snake oil, the podcast also serves as a filter and helpful shortcut to other high-quality self-help content. The episode duration which rarely extends much beyond 60 minutes also sits well with me, offering enough detail without feeling overly-long.
Amazing Podcast

I started listening to this podcast 2 weeks ago and listening to the episodes all day while working from home! It’s really given me a reflection on myself and how my mind works, I’ve just finished the ep with Abigail Shrier and WOW it’s blown my mind in a good way looking at myself! Keep them coming Mark and Drew loving it!
Good - I’m going to keep listening

I like listening to Mark and Drew and agree somewhat with their outlook on life. His guests sometimes make me cringe though so far. I’ve listened to the first maybe 20 episodes and am hoping the dynamics changes. Its fine having the “rich” guy come on and give us there way of starting out in business and how they made it. What I feel is missed, is the poor guy or girl who already has a family and bills, needs to support his hub. Has no time to make changes. In some ways the show is I feel aimed at singles who have no financial commitments and more freedom to explore life, purpose and bring meaning to their life. I’d like to see an episode where severe childhood trauma is discussed with someone who has been through the roughest of childhoods and what they did step by little step to help them. Make the range of guests fluid in terms of background, so far I feel middle class people who successful is kinda snubbing me a little. How about a regular guy or girl who pulled themselves off the street and now has a job and a home. How about a guy or girl that changed their career in their mature years. How did they do it and maybe add someone who failed and never gave up, what was their motivation and pitfalls. Maybe some people at my age in my mid 40’s don’t want to make millions, we just need help with purpose and motivation. I’ll keep listening and adjust my rating if needed as I go. Thanks Mark, really enjoyed your books! Please don’t be disheartened by my rating, there’s always room for improvement!
