The problem with ADHDpreneurs intellectualizing their emotions (No ads, unbleeped)
In this episode of the Weeniecast, I'm going to be getting super frickin' vulnerable with you, and talk about the thing none of us like to talk about - emotions.
Specifically, intellectualizing emotions. More specifically still, for individuals with ADHD.
As someone who has personally experienced the challenges of starting a business and dealing with the pressure and expectations that come with it, I understand the importance of addressing our emotional well-being.
We often get so caught up in the intellectual side of things, trying to make sense of our feelings, that we neglect to actually process and release them.
As children with ADHD, many of us were not taught how to effectively communicate our wants, needs, and feelings.
Instead, we were trained to intellectualize our emotions, shutting off the ability to truly process and experience them.
However, emotions are energy in motion, and when we don't allow them to flow through us, they become trapped in our bodies.
This can lead to a build-up of unresolved emotions that can impact our mental and emotional well-being, especially when trying to navigate the complexities of running a business.
I'll be explaining why it's essential for ADHD entrepreneurs to learn how to fully feel and process their emotions, both the good and the bad. And I'll be sharing ways to intellectualize less and authentically feel and process our emotions more.
Join me in this episode of The Weeniecast as we explore the impact of intellectualizing emotions on ADHD entrepreneurs. -

What is ADHD entrepreneurship? Patience and faith! (No ads, unbleeped)
In this episode of The Weeniecast for winners, my podcast helping ADHD entrepreneurs with their business strategy, I'm asking "What Is ADHD entrepreneurship? And suggesting it's actually about having patience and faith.
I'll be talking about the importance of maintaining your patience and faith throughout the start of your journey to successful entrepreneurship when you have ADHD.
I share a story about a former client who experienced great success in her coaching business, thanks to her unwavering patience and faith which we talked about soooo many times!
It can be easy to get discouraged in the early stages of starting a business, especially when being a giant weenie and comparing yourself to the seemingly instant success stories of others.
However, I'm here to emphasize the need for consistency and gradual progress rather than expecting immediate results.
Ultimately, the key takeaway I hope you get from this episode is the understanding that building a successful business takes time and patience.
Have patience and faith in the process, and I will talk you through some of the tools you'll need for achieving that!
