Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

Something wrong with the editing?

I’ve noticed episodes skipping back to parts already played. I even went back and listened to make sure it wasn’t something with my phone. Love the podcast.

Monica - stop talking

Monica — no one is here to listen to you talk over Bradley Cooper and act like you are a relevant part of him and Dax’s friendship. Your questions are mind numbingly boring and irrelevant. Stop riding Dax’s success once and for all.

Solid content but the rest of it…

Pretty solid content and interviewees. Would be better without the frequent casual swearing and I cannot for the life of me understand why Monica is a part of the show. Zero value add. And honestly it detracts from the show overall.
