    Autistic Struggles With Socializing

    Autistic Struggles With Socializing

This episode is mostly a rant about a recent event I attended with some friends which turned bad (for me) due to being Autistic, having anxiety, and struggles with socializing. If you are Autistic and struggle with the neurotypical style of socializing, fitting in with a group of people (even friends), and functioning socially when you are overstimulated and exhausted, then you might be able to relate to this story!

Heather Skinner ,

Thank you.

I’m 38 and awaiting evaluation for autism. Hearing your experiences is so validating and helpful.

NewMom2B ,

Love this podcast!

I love that this podcast is so down to earth and real. Its helping me make sense of my own life experiences as I can relate to so much of what she talks about. It is so helpful to have people who have been diagnosed speaking about their experiences. Not only am I realizing that I’m not alone, but I’m also realizing that I’m not a failure, my brain just processes things differently. Thank you!! 💕
