Crashing Your Life - Hector Barbera
This week, we check out a seemingly crazy guy, in a VERY crazy sport. This man races motorcycles at almost 200 MPH, and has the scars, steel plates & screws in his body, to prove it! Off the track, he beats up his girlfriend, sending her to jail, too. He also can't stop drinking while driving without a license, and finally begins his apparent next career as a thief, and fraudster!
Come from Spain, all the way to Kentucky, follow your mom into the world of motorcycle racing, and do crazier things, in your everyday life than racing a motorcycle with Hector Barbera!!

The Human Air Freshener - David Boston
This week, we talk about a man from an upstanding family, blessed with all the physical gifts to allow him to be an NFL star. Only problem is, he can't stop flexing his muscles in the mirror, long enough to accomplish that. Rumors (and suspensions) because of "banned substances" that may have made him into The Hulk. He also drives while on GHB & maybe other drugs, and is a little loose with his fists, around women!

The Corpse Was Driving - Ricco "Suave" Rodriguez
This week, we find out about a former UFC heavyweight champion, who let it all go downhill. He gained too much weight, did too much cocaine, and got a little full of himself. This lands him on the "Celebrity Rehab" show, but those lessons don't seem to stick. He readily admits to one of the most repulsive, uncaring things we've ever heard anyone do. Plus, he seems to like to drink, before driving, and before fighting cab drivers!

Lousy Driver, Honest Man - Dale Ellis
This week, we find out about a seemingly mild mannered, and upstanding NBA 3 point specialist. He was raised with military precision, and won't allow his emotions to overtake him. Even when he's 9, and his father dies. He does let his emotions take over, at least a couple times, when he's arrested for hitting his wife, in addition to being one of the worst drivers that has ever gotten behind the wheel. Plus, his middle name is one for the books!!
Don't shed a tear, as a 9 year old, with a dead dad, tell people that you'e better than Michael Jordan, in the late 80s, and drive your car across several lanes of freeway, while insisting you're not drunk with Dale Ellis!!

Tied with Small town Murder for Best Podcast Ever
I first started listening to STM because I heard about it years ago on Timesuck and fell in love with STM. Once I had fully binged STM and caught all the way up, I finally went and tried out Crime in Sports and was equally in love. I’m not the hugest sports fan, except for loving the Dodgers but these shows are great and full of mostly stories I have never heard before and some of the stories I have heard there is so much more info and detail that you can’t find any where else. James does an amazing job of researching and putting these episodes together. Try this podcast out you will not be disappointed.
Not into sports
I find myself staying up later than intended when I put this on to go to bed. Started with the Pepitone episodes and have been hooked since.
How is it I’ve come to arrive here…
After years of listening? Because I thought I reviewed this a long time ago, and just realized I reviewed STM and not CIS. Been listening since the beginning, and I feel like I just truly know you guys. Thanks for joining me throughout my day. It makes it go by quickly. Genuinely love you guys. Never, ever stop, or we will all riot.
