I don’t usually leave reviews…
But that’s how awesome this podcast is.
1.) I love how it’s something a couple is doing together. As someone who gets only a few hours a day with my own spouse, I like spending as much time with him as I can. It’s nice to see I’m not alone!
2.) I don’t scare easily. I can watch horror movies with zero reaction and go to sleep with all lights off and have pleasant dreams. This podcast has had several episodes where I have had to pause it to calm my racing heart and make sure there’s a light on in my bathroom before I go to sleep.
3.) The way Dan reads his stories is amazing. It’s very easy to listen to him.
4.) The nightmare fuel episodes?!? Love them. As a budding author, I am genuinely in awe of Dan’s work and I’ve loved all of them so far.
5.) The only constructive criticism I have is that one, and now 2, episodes a week aren’t enough. Is that even criticism? I don’t know. All I know is I’m lost after binging from beginning to current and now I have to wait every week for the next episode. How dare they have a life outside of this podcast! (Just kidding… don’t burn out. Don’t leave me.)
Seriously. I don’t recommend podcasts because of personal reasons. I’ve gotten my husband to watch Scared to Death with me and I told my brother to listen, too. It’s wonderful and if I had more than 5 stars to give, it’d be given without blinking.
