How Reflecting Her Ideal Client Doubled This Solopreneur’s Revenue In One Year

How Reflecting Her Ideal Client Doubled This Solopreneur’s Revenue In One Year

As humans, we are subconsciously attracted to or trusting of things that feel familiar. Today’s case study examines how executive assistant Kiri Mohan, who also doubles as a coach for freelancers who work corporate jobs, used this to her advantage to double her revenue in one year - all while working 25 hours a week as a solopreneur.

By implementing a simple reflection framework, Kiri studied the brand colors, imagery, copy, social media, and website of her ideal clients, and started reflecting similar qualities in her own brand presentation and messaging.

Doing this not only attracted the exact kind of clients that Kiri wanted to work with, but it allowed her to increase her pricing - going from working $40 per hour trading time for money to $5K per month retainer contracts.

This reflection process is brilliant, let’s dig in.

Paying Off $70K Debt In 9 Months By Monetizing Multiple Skills Outside Her “Normal Business”

Paying Off $70K Debt In 9 Months By Monetizing Multiple Skills Outside Her “Normal Business”

Debt - especially personal or consumer debt - feels like a monster most people prefer to shove in a closet, so we’re grateful to get a rare and financially vulnerable testimony of what managing and paying off debt as an entrepreneur actually looks like from our guest, Taylor Aller.

Despite making 6-figures as a multi-passionate registered massage therapist, educator and consultant, Taylor didn’t feel like her finances were in a comfortable place. After taking a deep dive into her and her husband’s financial situation, she faced head-on the $65K in consumer debt they had accumulated.

In today’s case study, Taylor details how they leveraged a concept called multi-potentialism to monetize a wide range of skills and pay off nearly $70K of debt and interest combined in just 9 months, without burning out.

Organic Social Selling with Chatbots: This ManyChat Automation Generated $15,385 in 60 Days

ManyChat has entered the chat in a big way over the last few years, so we’re bringing you a practical case study from an entrepreneur who has successfully leveraged this to skyrocket her post engagement and sales.

Video marketing strategist, Keenya Kelly, started using ManyChat in 2020 to gather leads and convert them into paying customers. Her strategy has led to 18% conversion rates and over $15,000 in revenue in the last 60 days alone!

Keenya walks us through each step of her chatbot automation sequence (including the exact wording of the messages sent) so you can skip the learning curve and hit the ground running with setting up your own automations.

Listen until the end to discover the types of content that trigger the most responses to initiate chatbot conversations, why Keenya doesn’t send fresh leads straight to paid offers, and an innovative way to leverage chatbots to stand out to brands for paid partnerships.

The $100K Risk That Made $1 Million + Caught Costco’s Attention

The $100K Risk That Made $1 Million + Caught Costco’s Attention

Are you misallocating your company’s resources on a product that’s stunting your growth? Today’s case study investigates this dilemma.

Michelle Razavi, CEO and co-founder of the gut-friendly food company, Elavi, recently faced this roadblock head on. After successfully launching the company in 2020 with collagen protein bars, she made the tough decision to cut this entire product line - giving up $100,000 in guaranteed revenue in the process - in favor of going all-in on their new (and more promising) product line of dessert cashew butter spreads.

Mere months later, Elavi’s dessert butters were picked up by retailing giant Costco, AND they’re now on track to generate $1M this year!

It's not easy to let go of something you poured your heart into, but what if doing so could open the door to a new, million-dollar opportunity? Michelle walks us through how she came to this decision, the pitching strategy that got Costco’s attention, and why this pivot 10Xed their revenue.
