As a Parent : a big Thank you
I came upon this podcast online. I was searching for help online when I was noticing my son’s depression symptoms. This is really helpful information to have. Thank you.
Therapist recommended
I can’t say enough good things about this podcast! Allie and Lauren really know their stuff and they share their knowledge in ways both therapists and parents can effectively learn! I work primarily with teens and adults, but learning about children and growth from childhood into adolescence and adulthood is essential in being able to work effectively with the population I serve. Everyone, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and teachers needs to listen to this podcast!
A must listen for all parents!
All parents should at the very least listen to episode one. You will learn what signs your child may show to indicate they may need help from a counselor and how to go about finding a good one. I wish this podcast had been released a year or two ago. We would have gotten help for our son so much sooner. I found this so informative, helpful, and easy to listen to. It helps to know our family isn’t the only family taking these steps, and that we are doing what right for our child right now. This is very real for a lot of kids, please take your child’s words and changes in behaviors seriously. ❤️
