Hey I’m Sarah, a wife and mom, a Jesus lover and entrepreneur. I tried to get sober for 5 year’s. I was stuck in the cycle of addiction moving from one addiction to another. My negative mindset and unhealthy habits were keeping me stuck from walking in the truth of who God says I am. I had so much trauma in my past that I did not want to deal with, I felt trapped!
I finally realized that if I was going to overcome my addiction and truly walk l out God’s calling for my life I was going to need more than a desire to change. I needed to step out in faith ready to put in the work to become healthy in mind, body and spirit. This is where true freedom lies!

    07 Why is Forgiveness so important for Recovery! Explained

    Do you feel a constant negative feeling in the pit of your stomach..... when you think of a person in your life does your blood start to boil.... Or do you feel some resentment towards someone that just never seems to go away ? If so, these are signs that you have unforgiveness and (or) resentment building up inside of you. In today's episode we are going to dive in to what Forgiveness is and the different kinds of forgiveness you need to do in your recovery journey. We must forgive others - but also be willing to go and ask for forgiveness to those we have hurt. We will discuss how forgiveness ties in to the 12 steps to recovery. Step number 8, and how you can start to work on writing out your two lists. Ask God to help bring to your remembrance those to place in your lists.Doing this step is constant - recovery work is a constant thing. As we work on it more it becomes part of our routine.
