More Movie Chat
After a holiday week break, Grace is back with some news to talk about. She gets into the major news around the league, a few free agent signings and some postings from Japan, plus a bit on Shohei Ohtani. She also discusses the minor amounts of Mets news from the past couple of weeks, but nothing too exciting.
Then, she does her promised A League of Their Own chat (the movie, not the show). She has a free form talk about one of her favorite films, discussing the cast, the direction, the script, and the costuming. She also talks about the duality of the movie and show, and Penny Marshall's importance in film history.
Finally, she talks about the recent Scream VII news that's been all over the place, and talks about the Hollywood Blacklist of the 1950s. And finally, she does a double movie minute (to make up for being off last week), one to close out Noirvember and one to kickstart the holiday season.
Follow us on Twitter/X @FIBPod, on Instagram @FlushingisBurningPod, and email us at flushingisburning@gmail.com! If you have any thoughts on A League of Their Own, make sure to send them ahead of next week's episode!

An AI-generated podcast
Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, an all-women led Home Run Applesauce podcast where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.
This week, we begin by discussing the Mets’ coaching staff and front office hires. We also talk about Howie Rose potentially ruining the Mets’ chances at Ohtani, which Mets were tendered and non-tendered, and the Yamamoto sweepstakes.
Next, we talk about the MLB owners officially approving the A’s move to Las Vegas and John Fisher putting his foot in his mouth again. We also chat about the not-quite-hot stove, Sports Illustrated publishing AI-generated articles with AI-generated bylines, and more.
Finally, we wrap things up with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what’s making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Welcome to From Complex to Queens, Home Run Applesauce’s podcast focusing on the Mets’ minor league system.
Not only is it Thanksgiving, generally a time to reflect on the state of one’s life, but From Complex To Queens recently passed the 250 episode mark. This week, Steve discusses everything that we are thankful for in the context of baseball podcasters. At the end of the day, none of this matters if all of you out there weren’t listening, commenting, e-mailing, tweeting, or somehow otherwise participating in the process with us. We’re thankful for all of you out there.

Customer Reviews
Randy Tate
Thoroughly enjoy the UnforMETable podcast. However, I distinctly recall the late Randy Tate being a right handed pitcher.
Amazin WOKE Podcast
This team is more interested in giving their woke take on the Mets than analyzing the team itself. The Mets sign Nimmo to a big deal and the first comment about it is that he is probably homophobic. This is a common theme generally. If you like listening to judgy woke takes this is your pod.
Very Amateur
In a world where there are dozens of podcasts for literally any super specific topic, if you are looking for a New York Mets only podcast, this is a great option if your preference is ill-informed opinions from people Who talk over each other, with terrible audio quality. And they curse a lot, so it’s… edgy? I dunno.
