    248. MY NARCISSISTIC MOTHER, I Fought For My Rights

    248. MY NARCISSISTIC MOTHER, I Fought For My Rights

Alison is 19 years of age and wise beyond her years. She understands what is acceptable and what is not. The information she receives from the world clearly tells her what is abuse, what is manipulation. Alison is a beautiful, sensitive soul. Having endured the impact of a manipulative and abusive mother throughout her childhood, Alison's sensitive nature was profoundly affected. Despite her tender age, Alison courageously took a stand against the toxicity within her home environment. Determined to no longer tolerate daily abusive behavior, Alison quietly yet resolutely advocated for change. She stood up for what was right. And that’s not easy as a child. Alison’s journey wasn't without its challenges. Engaging in custody battles in court exacted a toll on Alison's physical and mental well-being. Nevertheless, she remained steadfast in her resolve. She never gave up. Alison's story sheds light on the harsh reality faced by countless children trapped in abusive households, encouraging us to think more deeply about what needs to change.

    244. I Was Suicidal AT NINE YEARS OF AGE

    244. I Was Suicidal AT NINE YEARS OF AGE

Abby was suicidal at nine years of age. How does a child of nine become suicidal? By the time she was a teen, Abby was angry. She started drinking, partying, and alcohol turned into an instant addiction for Abby. Alcohol allowed Abby to finally escape the deep sadness and fear she felt inside. That addiction to alcohol would feature in Abby’s life over many years and it would allow Abby to live, what appeared from the outside to be a good life. She had a career, a loving husband and she was traveling the world. But addiction is like a ticking time bomb and one day something has to give. As she says herself, Abby is now turning her mess into her message and she is coaching women to heal from generational trauma cycles. You can find Abby on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/uh.vee and via her website https://www.abigailteixeira.com/

Wake up little one

This podcast has been my life line since the beginning of 2023. I’m nearly 38 years old and am just now getting to know my inner child because of the stories shared here. I hope some day to share my story too.

IS THIS MY TWIN? MY LIFE TO A T

This is literally 80% accurate of my life. I grew up without a dad but an alcoholic step dad that my alcoholic and drugged out egg donor liked to antagonize and taunt my step dad. He has said he’s so sorry for any wrong he has done or any trauma he caused in my life. My egg donor on the other hand manipulated me to pay for her cell phone or should wouldn’t have contact with medical professionals. It took me 20 years to stop paying her phone bill. There is so so much more and sadly most who know have since passed leaving me alone on this big bad world again. Baby sitting other people’s kids as well as my egg donor. Baby sitting at 9, Mother at 9, 10, 12 then 15 years old (my own child). It’s been quite the journey and I’m just getting started at 41

Healing childhood ,
