I'm excited to sit down with Phillip Meece. We talk about his experience serving in Afghanistan, the importance of meat and much more. Make sure to listen to the full interview to learn more.
Phillip Meece was a combat medic who served in Afghanistan and returned with gut dysbiosis after his health was derailed by preservative-laden junk food and antibiotics. Upon his return to civilization, Phillip set himself to the task of making something better - the ideal food for travel, performance, and survival. He thought of pemmican, a high fat all-meat Native American food. Carnivores need a way to take a high fat all-meat product on the go, something that wasn't just jerky...so The Carnivore Bar was born! He launched a Kickstarter in 2019 and the rest is history. Thanks to the Carnivore Diet, his previous conditions of PTSD, dysbiosis, asthma, and anxiety are all in remission and he remains symptom free as long as he eats fatty red meat and nothing else. As a result, you won't find him anywhere without a Carnivore Bar!
