WE ARE NOT OKAY; A Discussion on Maternal Mental Health—with Karla Carlston

    Maternal mental health IS HEALTH.
⚠️CW: Talk of suicidal thoughts/ideations and intrusive thoughts ⚠️
On today’s episode, I sat down with Karla Carlston, CEO and founder of J.O.T. Journals. Karla’s mission is to get the tool of journaling into as many hands as possible.
Her own journey through postpartum anxiety/depression drove her to the creation of a journal that would show all the moments in life, even the difficult ones.
Karla is a survivor of postpartum anxiety and depression, and wants others to know they don’t have to do it alone.
Find Karla and J.O.T. at Pinners Conference this weekend!
If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide due to postpartum depression, please call or text 988 for help.

The Art and Challenge of Starting Over—with Joan Gardner

Joan Gardner used muck to describe her experience with starting over after divorce. As a coach for women in the same spot, she wants you to know that your life is not over, and you aren’t alone
As you navigate the loss, you’re also learning how to rebuild a life that looks different than before. In that space, it’s easy to feel like an island. An island of muck, perhaps?
Joan shares how she navigated all of that, as well as how she can help you do the same. She ends it all with the promise that you’ll be okay.
Join Joan on social media! Her Instagram, her TikTok, her Twitter, and her Facebook.
Keep an eye out for her upcoming book, too!

Love the positivity and insights! I’ve been able to identify shame in my own life and process it more fully.

Audio issues

I love the content and have learned a lot, but the audio is way way way too soft and auery
