Loved the peripartum episode

As a psychiatrist who works with this population, I found this episode very informative, engaging and helpful regarding just what matters for new moms going through postpartum anxiety and depression- thank you for doing this- i have recommended it to my colleagues in psychiatry and ob-gyn as well to several patients!

Pertinent topics & a sense of community

There is still stigma and shame associated with mental health issues, & it’s easy to feel so alone when dealing with such difficulties. This show addresses so many pertinent issues, with guests who have direct experience, & professionals with a range of expertise. I’ve learned so much, listening to this podcast, and also felt a reassurance that we’re not alone in this. Anyone who is dealing with issues or has a friend or loved one who is (so, pretty much all of us!) can gain so much knowledge and also reassurance from listening. Thank you Debra and staff! Bravo!!

Thank you, Debra and team: for your timely podcasts - so many topics have been so helpful for myself that I can’t name them all here-and in particular for bringing to the fore experts in the fields you cover who are of our community and of African American descent. It adds an angle and perspective so often sorely missing.
