    Today I'm sharing something that's been coming up repeatedly in my work - a crucial insight about how we often misunderstand alignment in human design, and how this misunderstanding can actually keep us stuck. The Core Paradox: We think we need to avoid our "not-self" themes (frustration, anger, bitterness, disappointment) and focus only on our "signature" themes (satisfaction, peace, success, surprise). But this approach completely misses where the real transformation happens. The Four/Five "Not-Self" Themes: Generator/Manifesting Generator: Frustration Manifester: Anger Projector: Bitterness Reflector: Disappointment Here's what most people miss: Your not-self theme is where all the magic is. It's not something to avoid or bypass - it's your access point to deeper alignment. Why This Matters: When you resist your not-self themes, you actually create more of what you're trying to avoid. This is the classic "what you resist persists" principle. If you're trying to force yourself into feeling satisfied while pushing away frustration, you're working against yourself. The real transformation happens when you can lovingly accept and work WITH the parts of you experiencing these not-self themes. This is the actual deconditioning work. All Themes Apply to All of Us: Even though you have a specific type in your chart, you'll likely experience all of these themes at different times. I'm a generator, but I resonate with all the signature and not-self themes across all types. We're a blend of all the archetypes - it's never black and white. The Real Work: Get curious about your not-self themes instead of judging them Express these energies healthily (journaling, EFT tapping, movement, screaming into a pillow) Recognize that frustration, anger, bitterness, and disappointment all stem from the same root fears - not belonging, rejection, not being loved Celebrate when these themes come up because they're showing you where transformation wants to happen A Personal Example: I recently went through intense frustration in my business - wanting to simplify, feeling like I didn't want to continue doing things the same way. Instead of pushing it away, I stayed with it. Now I've found my satisfaction again, with real clarity about what needs to change. The Invitation: Human design isn't here to label or limit you. It's an awareness tool showing you where you're not aligned SO YOU CAN work with those parts and become more aligned. The signature themes (satisfaction, peace, etc.) come naturally when you stop resisting the not-self themes. Information alone doesn't create transformation - it's the repeated practice of working with these aspects of yourself that leads to embodiment and real change. My Journey as a Teacher: I've always been a natural teacher - even in school, I helped other kids with math and loved it. But I didn't know what I was here to teach until human design came into my life about five years ago. When I discovered it, something clicked - it felt like remembering rather than learning something new. What I quickly realized was that the way I understood and shared human design was vastly different from traditional teachings. Human design gave me permission to do things my own way, which was exactly what I'd been frustrated about in the entrepreneurial space - constantly trying to replicate other people's formulas and feeling like a failure when they didn't work.     In this vulnerable solo episode, I share a real-time example of how the sacral center works in decision-making - using my own journey with the daily Big Leap Year videos I've been creating since my birthday. Even though I'm around day 170 and committed to it at the beginning of the year, my sacral has been giving me a clear "no" - and I'm finally listening. Understanding the Sacral Stair Step: The sacral has a natural rhythm: go up (energized, flowing) → hit plateau (feels dull, "blah") → go back up to next level The key is recognizing the difference between a temporary plateau (normal - don't quit here!) and genuine misalignment (consistent "no" that doesn't shift) What starts as a sacral "yes" can change over time - staying connected to your body's current wisdom matters more than past commitments What I Learned: I was trying to prove myself and people-please rather than honor my body's wisdom The daily commitment was draining me and distracting from what truly lights me up (podcasting, true sidereal human design) When you're consistently pushing and forcing, that's misalignment - not just a plateau Sometimes we need to experience what's NOT aligned to learn what IS aligned Key Takeaways: Not everything aligned will feel amazing 100% of the time - plateaus are normal Your wellbeing and body's signals should always be the priority When you let go of what's not yours, you create space for others to step into their zone of genius The more you slow down and connect to your body (nature, meditation, etc.), the clearer your inner compass becomes The Invitation: If you feel called to do the Big Leap Year journey, get the book and do it at your own pace.     Is Tropical Astrology Sustainable?

    In this thought-provoking solo episode, I share my journey of discovering the difference between tropical and true sidereal astrology, and why this matters for Human Design, Gene Keys, and our understanding of celestial influences. The Core Question: If tropical astrology is based on where celestial bodies were 2,000+ years ago rather than where they actually are in the sky today, is this system sustainable long-term? What I Explore: The precession of the equinoxes - roughly every 72 years, the position of celestial bodies shifts about 1 degree, creating almost a 30-degree difference over 2,000 years Why when you read "full moon in Aquarius," it's most likely actually in Capricorn when you look at the real sky My personal shift from tropical to true sidereal astrology and how it affected my human design work The emotional responses people have when discovering their "sun sign" might be different than they've always believed The Bigger Picture: I draw parallels between this astronomical reality and other areas where we've blindly followed systems that drift away from nature (like the margarine vs. butter example in nutrition). Sometimes what seems "easier" or more standardized isn't necessarily more aligned with natural reality. True sidereal astrology uses actual constellation sizes - some are huge (Virgo, Pisces) while others are small (Aries, Scorpio) - reflecting the irregularities of nature rather than the artificial 30-degree divisions of tropical astrology. My Perspective: This isn't about right vs. wrong - it's about personal resonance and what feels authentic to you. I respect that different systems work for different people, and I'm simply sharing what I've discovered resonates deeply with me after years of exploration. I wonder if our society's rush and disconnection from natural timing partly stems from following astrological systems that are always "ahead" of what's actually happening in the sky. Make your own informed choice about what resonates with your experience. If this triggers resistance in you, that's completely normal - it may simply not be the right time for you to explore this.
