I Lost Myself after Finding Answers
Has this happened to you? I got my diagnosis for Bipolar 2 and finally got my mind on track with meds and was able to get back to my routine. The only problem was, I didn't know how to stay motivated anymore due to the changes in my neuro-chemistry. I hope this short episode helps someone who was or is in that place now. Please reach out with questions or comments, we're here to help.

Shame, guilt, and too much pizza
Welcome to the second episode of my journey with Bipolar 2 disorder. I was hesitant to start this series, but after episode one we've had such a great outpouring of support and kind words. Thank you so much. I want this podcast to be an outlet and resource for everything surrounding wellness and wellness related behavior. This week I talk about the shame and guilt that initially came from my diagnosis and how it truly disrupted my wellness journey in a negative way. I hope this is helpful to you. As always, connect with us at any of the places below.

One Diagnosis and Life Changes
Hey all.
It has been awhile. Tony and I are sorry for the inconsistency. Life has gotten in the way a bit. Over the last two years I (Clint) have gotten a mental health diagnosis that has turned my world literally upside down over night. I am here now to share my journey with Bipolar 2 disorder. I hope to inspire other people who are struggling with taking hold of the reigns for their mental health. This is my story. I hope it is helpful to you.

Inspirational and mentoring!
I’ve been looking for a HOT MINUTE to find a behavior analyst that focuses on nutrition and health because it’s what I want to do and I FINALLY FOUND IT. I’m over the moon. The episodes have been great thus far, (I’ve listened to two LOL) but you guys are real and raw and you just put it like it is.
I would really like to hear about how a behavior analyst can break into nutrition and work in the field. I sit for the BCaBA exam in the Summer of 2023 and on to my masters for Aba but no one knows quite how to guide me into how to break into nutrition with my aba background.
Journey started here
I have been following Behavior Chef since the beginning when he created a Facebook page, and I saw it advertised on another page. I believe the story goes, he created it and didn’t really know what he was going to do with it. It interested me, as I was in search of behavioral answers to my own issues with health, eating, etc. I never met Behavior Chef, and never really talked to him (for no real reason other than we don’t know each other). But I feel like he and I (and all his guests) connect on so many topics. Every episode I listen to, just resonates. It lights up so many “oh duh” moments, because they just talk about things in such a simplified manner. A true example of disseminating a science, and applying it to areas ABA books don’t often reach (at least not specifically). This podcast has changed my life, and the life of my wife (who full disclosure has never even listened to the podcast). I met my own fitness coach through listening to this podcast, and it has helped me and my wife so much. We are becoming the versions of ourselves that we want to be (in small gradual ways). It started with this podcast. Thank you all!

Full of energy and knowledge
These episodes have meat. The conversations are real, honest, and super informative. Clint carries the conversations as if he’s known the guest for years. Keep going Behavior Chef!
