Episode 14: Grief and Love
In this episode, I discuss grief and love. Grief is something that touches every one of us, at some point in our lives. It’s a universal human experience, but grief is also deeply personal and unique to each individual. Love often finds expression in various creative forms, such as art, music, poetry, and more. It is more than just an emotional expression, it is an action. We all experience and demonstrate love differently. I process coping with the grief of Kobe Bryant and exploring love- the lyrics behind, “When it hurts so bad” by Lauryn Hill.

Episode 12: Miseducated and Unplugged
In today's episode, I share my personal thoughts and feelings about Lauryn Hill and her solo debut album, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and her appearance on MTV's Unplugged. Lauryn's natural ability to blend genres, her soulful sounds, and meaningful lyrics is to be discussed with grace. I offer a few reflective questions throughout the episode to help you consider how you can find peace of mind and define your own destiny.

Episode 10: Poetry: Expressions
In this episode, I share a short poem that I wrote in 2010, Expressions. Expressing your emotions can be difficult at first but the result is liberating. I believe that when we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. Emotions give meaning to the story and paints a descriptive picture to what we are trying to express. I offer a few reflective questions at the end.
