Such a light in darkness
I recently found this podcast. It is a light in a culture of darkness and disconnection. I’m so sad to hear he passed away. Thank you for keeping this podcast up for new parents to find.
SAVW THE KIDS - A MUST LISTEN!
Although Collin Kartchner passed on to the spirit world, unexpectedly and way too soon for us all, he left a LEGACY of connecting with and helping our children with the pitfalls and snakes of social media and smart phones. His comedic skits, incredible compassion, powerful communication, deep commitment, and sincere love for our kids and their mental health was(and is still) unmatched.
The daily dose of Collin from his stories and posts on Instagram were messages we all needed to hear. His assemblies in schools, and speeches to parents and families in churches and more, were a blessing to us all. He taught us the importance of connecting with each other and how 8 second hugs are everything for kids and teens (and parents).
I know he is missed so dearly by those he helped in-person and online. He changed our lives for the better and made us all want to be better humans. So yes, this Podcast is great to listen to… and go back to his IG and read all of his posts and highlights. We lost a true follower of Christ, but heaven gained an angel who can help our kids from the other side - as long as we do the work on this side.
I thank Collin for hearing the cries of our kids when we couldn’t or didn’t. Enjoy this podcast and much love to you and yours.
Vital podcast for parents
Every parent should listen to this podcast. Great information for minimizing the effects of social media and smart phones on our children’s health and decision making. My kids are little, but I am gathering as much info now as I can to be prepared. I see the damage smart phones have on young relatives and friends’ kids, and it’s scary.
