Good format, helpful and inspirational

I admit I am a patron and fan of Brighter Vision. I have recently switched to listening to podcasts instead of news; taking some of my own advice! I listen to several private practice podcasts. I am not new, but this is an encore career for me. Even though one of my undergrad degrees is in business, I glean needed and helpful information from the Therapist Experience podcasts to further my practice.

157? Not so good...

On episode 157, the person interviewed had some ideas with which I really don’t agree. I do agree that mental health graduate training does not include enough training and education about running a business. I strongly disagree, though, with his criticism that training is not experiential enough. First, a large part of the education is about theory, statistics, experimental design, etc. All of that has to at least be introduced through lectures. Then, however, at least in the program I was in, involved a HUGE experiential component: clinical practica, internships, supervision, etc. for the clinical training, not to mention all of the research experience.

More episodes?

Love this podcast and the interviewers questions/style. Disappointed there are not more episodes available. What happened to the earlier ones?
