Also to everyone who says the affirmations are sad, I am sorry you felt that way and emphasize with why you would feel that way but
Sometimes you may be in such a dark mental space that you have no favorite moment of the day, or in general and so “being thankful for a place to sleep or something to eat” really helps.
Sometimes the best part of empathy is to just acknowledge that someone may be feeling something different than you. You don’t need to change it, or worry. Just understand and be grateful you have those basic essentials
