Used it for IBS for years. Insurance won’t cover it and they should. It helps.
Recommendations are off the mark

While your recommendations are great for general health, they are way off the mark for IBS sufferers. Just listening to you describe a bowl of oats with pumpkin seeds, walnuts and berries gave me a stomach ache. Haven’t you heard of low FODMAP stacking? I have been working with a Dietician for a month now to get to gut bliss. It is a slow process of carefully adding in foods and eating a lot of greens is NOT the answer. For those with Crohn’s Disease, there are medicines and infusions. IBS sufferers don’t have that and have to work very diligently to get back to eating normal, healthy whole foods. I really wish you would speak to that in your podcast. Low FODMAP is very dependent on quantities of a particular food.
I’ve been following Dr. Chutkan for years!

I own all of her books as she is my gut “go-to”. With her educational background & reasonable approach, she stands out as the voice of reason in all confusion & noise surrounding healthy eating.
