Blood sugar levels

I always enjoy Dr. Mindy‘s content, but I have a question that’s never answered. I have worn a CGM and it routinely shows higher blood sugar levels throughout my fasting Window and as soon as I eat, my glucose levels drop. Why is this? I know that I am insulin resistant and prediabetic. I eat healthy and follow all the macro nutrient rules set out by Dr. Mindy. What can I do to lower my fasting glucose levels, which don’t have anything to do with the early morning cortisol spike?

Thank you so much for all. I’m turning 78 tomorrow the 7th of January n have heard of fasting a long time ago. Didn’t listen but now-I Am! I just started about 3 weeks n bought your book-‘Fast like a Girl! Love it. It’s hard for me up see as I have MD but glasses help and I’m praying Fasting will at least keep me Sering. We have wonderful bodies we just need to learn how it Functions n how to make it work, correctly! Thank You for your care-your positive influence n Help! Lacreta Zyla.

Walking/Rucking

I agree that walking had been so underrated. I disagree regarding rucking, however. As a lifetime runner, I learned how every extra lb of body weight added so many more lbs of pressure on my feet and joints. In my opinion, we just can’t seem to accept that even a casual walk can do so much good for us, and our runner/athlete mentality always looks for ways to make it harder. Just enjoy the walk and be gentler on your joints.

I absolutely love love love this!!! Dr Mindy Pelz have helped me sooooo much just learn about my body! And even though what you put in you body is so important it’s more or less when you eat it! You have opens my mind to to much! I have you book & have ordered eat like a girl as well so I can’t wait for those recipes! But the recipes in the back of “fast like a girl” are pretty awesome too! I’ve recommended you and your teachings to many of my family and friends!! So thank you! If I can’t catch your YouTube videos I listen to you on podcasts!! Question: it was mentioned that you use stem cell injection procedures to improve one’s looks and I wonder where do these stem cells come from? You didn’t say and I hope that they are sourced ethically.
