This week the extra content will help learn more about elements of the Law of Moses that bring us to Christ with Kerry. In this episode Kerry and his colleagues have a roundtable discussion on ritual purity. They delve into what it really was, what it wasn't, and how it teaches us about holiness, and how purity and holiness are different. They discuss the difference between spiritual purity and ritual purity. They also look into how it helps us understand that God knows we will sin and fall short, and has planned for it by the atoning sacrifice of His Son. Kerry spends time really exploring the Day of Atonement and what it was and the symbols behind it and how that can help us come to Christ and be reconciled with God and become holy and spiritually pure through Christ's atoning sacrifice. Then Kerry and Rabbi Jarrod Grover discuss the ritual of sacrificing the Red Heiffer and what it could do and how we can think about it and how it points towards Christ and His cleansing and purifying abilities. This week the extra content will help learn more about elements of the Law of Moses that bring us to Christ with Kerry. In this episode Kerry and Avram Shannon discuss how the Law is fundamentally about atonement -- or reconciliation with God -- and sacrifice and the way God's law, whatever its form, helps us become holy, and the role of commandments and atonement in that process. They also delve into how the Law of Moses increased faith in Jehovah/Christ. They talk about how God is holy and wants us to be holy. They discuss the temple context of atonement in the text. Kerry explores the Law of the Redeemer, and what it did for Israel anciently and how it teaches us all about how Christ redeems us. Then Kerry and Avram discuss sacrifice in the Law of Moses and what it means and what the different kinds of sacrifice are. They help us see how we give ourselves to God, and how Christ's sacrifice helps us overcome sin and transgression and our fallen natures and find peace and wholeness and reconciliation with him. For fantastic extra content, join us at https://www.patreon.com/c/EnlightenEdgeEDU , where you will also be supporting the podcast. This week the extra content will help learn more about your temple worship by examining Egyptian temples with Kerry. This is a special episode to go with the Come Follow Me program's extra thoughts about Temple and Sacrifice. Kerry explores with Rabbi Jarrod Grover how the temple was about creating a relationship with God, and about overcoming what happened in the Garden of Eden. They also look at the Tree of Life symbolism and how God wants to be with us and we want to be with Him, and how God walks among us when we go to the temple. Then Kerry and Rabbi Joe Charnes talk about how temples are about holy encounters, such as holy encounters with place and with God, and how we must make place for the holy, and for God, within us. Then Kerry explores the tabernacle as a model for our journey to be with God again, drawing on symbolism and making room for Christ to make us new and like Him. This week the extra content will help you understand your temple experience better by drawing on the temples of ancient Egypt. In this episode Kerry explores the amazing experience Israel had in coming into the presence of God, and how most of them rejected coming into His presence. He also looks at how their story is an archetype of our journey to be with God, and what it means for us. He examines the experience of 70 elders of Israel coming into God's presence and becoming part of His household, and what this means for us and how it happens for us today. Then Kerry and Dr. Andrew Skinner explore how Israel provoked God and rejected Him, and what that may look like in our lives. Finally Kerry examines how we can learn about light from the story of Moses being with God. We are grateful for our executive producers, P. Franzen, J. Parke, D. Watson, B.
