THIS IS THE OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT FOR EPISODE 1” A podcast with the intent of being as honest and unedited as possible. “ Have you ever looked at the dreamy, luminous stars? Whenever I have the chance, whenever the earthly lights don't pollute the night sky, I'm able to gaze at those stars and ponder endlessly to myself. Now, I'm not an astronomer myself ... in fact, I am nowhere near being an astronomer. However, I was always consumed by the mere interest of the concept of stars shining and existing in literal space. Then recently, I thought to myself ... if I was able to imagine a solar system in my head, what would it be like? To start with, we need to look at the wider picture ... our galaxy. The galaxy of the world we live in is far beyond my knowledge but I do in fact know that is made up of a variety of solar systems, which include ours. Our standard solar system, some who call it 'the milky way' due to the stars illuminating the endless void when it is at its darkest. The roster that we know of (in order) is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Eight planets that all have interesting characteristics and differences from each other. With more people dancing and prancing around to view these posts, a subscription would really help me out especially since I don’t earn a single penny out of these posts right now. Thank you, and you can keep reading now :D With this scaffold to base my solar system from, I can simply research the planets' physical characteristics and relate it to a personality trait or psychological concept and write that in a document. Then, when all of this is finished ... I can finally build the foundation of my solar system. My ideal, mental solar system. Let's start by going through each of the planets translated into my imaginary, psychological version of it. I'll only start with four today. 1. The Sun First, we have the Sun. The Sun is my livelihood, my passion, my soul. It represents the burning fire and light in my heart and in my soul, keeping me alive and keeping me mentally sane. It helps remind me that even when times are difficult, when the *planets* are struggling to survive, and when the world around me is falling apart ... I will always be reminded on how I should be grateful that I'm still alive and living. 2. Mercury Second, we have Mercury. Mercury represents my childhood, a clean, blank slate. It can be shifted, but it will always remain as my core foundation of myself. My childhood was very foggy, and it was polluted in terms of the environment I was raised in. The clouds were always dark back where I was born and where I lived. Industrialisation, traffic congestion, and other factors became the cause of the fogginess. I had a rough childhood when I was growing up, and I won't go into much detail. However, I can tell you that it is a grey area when I try to reminisce the past and see that it was a jar of mixed memories. The good candy and the spoiled candy. Thankfully, the candies I've been picking from the jar have usually been good memories. Are you liking the topic of this post right now? Why not share it with your family and friends? The more the merrier! 3. Venus Third, we have Venus. Venus represents my passion. My passion for the world, my passion to breathe on these lands, my passion to feel, and many others. If I listed every single passion that I had for this world, for the Earth, I would have way too many and would make this whole post (podcast) a whole lot longer. All the passions that burn in my heart thrive and grow on Venus, and some passions eventually die out like withering roses. However, I cherished all my passions and made sure they were taken care of and used. Right now, my passion is to be able to interact with people, especially my friends, and build a deeper connection than a surface-level connection. To be able to have good memories and to be able to be closer to humanity. 4. Earth Finally, we have Earth. Earth represents my spontaneity, my ability to be able to act on scenarios with spontaneous bursts of energy. Earth represents life, and my life is basically just bursts of energy that come and go. It's been able to help me get through work and studies, party at friends' houses, have a good time at hangouts, and so on ... but it has also left me drained, and at most times -- I am usually tired and fatigued most of the time I live my life. Sometimes, like Earth's current problems, it feels as if my energy is slowly draining its maximum capacity and I can no longer be as energetic as I was. It's most likely since I've grown up from my inner child to a much more mature soul, which also meant that it's harder to enjoy the brighter side of things when more responsibilities are being tasked upon me and challenges are facing me abruptly and directly. I'm only going to cover the Sun and these four planets for today's episode, since I'd like to keep these somewhat short. So, stay tuned for the next episode to see the full picture of Dabido's mental solar system! I should really get a better name ... A thought transformed into a whole episode of The Dabido Weekly, which is something that I would find peculiar if you said that to me four weeks ago. I appreciate all of the support from you all at Substack and my previous subscribers from YouTube that have flocked over to Substack to continue supporting me, so thank you. Please, if you do like these blog posts, consider subscribing to The Dabido Blog at my Substack page (which is here, for those reading on Substack), referring a friend, and sharing it to a wider audience! It really helps me a lot, and I don't really earn anything (at least, right now) from these episodes or posts ... so social support will do! Thank you everyone, and enjoy your day! Sincerely,Dabido (P.S. Just saying, in the audio version, I’m most likely stuttering at some points or adding new stuff out of improv. That’s because I’ll usually just upload the first take for all of the episodes. Cheers!) This is a public episode.
