I Know The Day My Mum Is Going To Die: Ginni’s Story Part 1

We talk a lot about getting older. Usually, we’re here for a laugh, because God knows we need one. But sometimes, at this stage of life, we also need to have a cry. For Gen X, that can mean watching our parents age and facing the realities of serious illness. Our co-host Ginni is living this right now. Her mum has been very ill for a long time and has made the decision to choose voluntary assisted dying. It’s been a long and complicated road for Ginni and her family, and she’s decided to share this deeply personal experience with us in the hope it might help another family. This is a three-part series taking us through the before, the moment itself and the after. If this conversation brought up hard feelings and you need some help, please call Lifeline here. In your ears today is Cath Mahoney, Bruna Papandrea and Ginni Mansberg Buy tickets to The Spring Fling. Check out our Unleashed music playlist for some feel good throwbacks! I Need To Know How Big My GP’s Fingers Are

Cath got bumped off a screensaver, and she still remembers exactly who took her spot. Mary's husband treats a nap like a NASA mission. Ginni has one line she says to every patient before a certain exam, and it never fails. Plus: the movies and shows that actually ended relationships, the childhood celebrity meeting that went badly wrong, and a Spring Fling playlist update with strong opinions on Footloose. In your ears today: Ginni Mansberg, Mary Coustas, Georgie Page and Cath Mahoney. Buy tickets to The Spring Fling. Check out our Unleashed music playlist for some feel good throwbacks! 'I Think I’ve Outgrown My Husband... Now What?'

What happens when your life  - and marriage - looks fine on paper....but you feel like you've outgrown it? That's the very real problem we're Unleashing on this week. Meanwhile, the 90's nearly killed us. Bruna used be a full-blown party girl (including near-death experiences), but now she’s in bed by 9pm. Mary dreams of long, late European dinners but even she's leaving the children's New Years Eve fireworks before they've finished. And Cath once flashed her whole bush to a rave.... but now she just raves about getting into bed early. What happened? Then, Ginny suspects a friend has committed the ultimate betrayal: recipe sabotage. With missing ingredients and possibly fake instructions, we launch a full investigation into whether some women just… don’t share. Plus, the medical chat that has taken over the group chat — are we all walking around with a “sausage of poo”… and what exactly are we meant to do about it? In your ears today: Mary Coustas, Bruna Papandrea, Dr Ginni Mansberg and Cath MahoneyThe End Bits: Follow us on Instagram, DM us thoughts, feelings and questions @unleashed.showLove the show?
