En los alrededores de la misteriosa Zona del Silencio, entre carreteras solitarias, desierto y pequeños pueblos de Durango, todavía existen historias que difícilmente llegan a quienes viven fuera de la región. Dafne nació en Sinaloa y creció en la Ciudad de México. A los 18 años le dijo a su mamá que era gay. La respuesta fue seca y definitiva: "Haz de cuenta que para ti estoy muerta." Lo hizo por necesidad, por sobrevivencia y porque en ese mundo encontró algo que nunca había tenido: dinero, reconocimiento y a alguien a quien amar. Cuando una balacera le dejó perdigones de escopeta incrustados en el cuerpo, algo cambió. Salió del narco, pero el mundo que la esperaba afuera no era mejor. Alcohol, robo, huachicol y calle. Su historia no es la de alguien que eligió el camino equivocado. Es la de alguien que nunca tuvo camino. Hoy Dafne vive en un reclusorio varonil de la Ciudad de México.
