    Hello! Today’s guest, Shabana Azeez, shares what it was like filming on the set of HBO series The Pitt after landing the role of medical student Victoria Javadi and moving to LA on a whim. Her role in the award-winning medical drama sees Victoria juggling the high-pressure environment of a hospital emergency department while also living up to the expectations of her successful surgeon mother. In this conversation, Shabana opens up about the loneliness she felt when she moved to Los Angeles, the people who tried to befriend her once she became famous, having a parasocial relationship with herself online, and the friendships that have grounded her during her rise to fame.     ‘I escaped a controlling marriage’ with Lisa Jewell

    Hello! Today, we’re joined by No. 1 New York Times and Sunday Times author, Lisa Jewell. Lisa has written 24 novels and has sold over 10 million books worldwide.  In this conversation, Lisa opens up about her first marriage, where she was a victim of coercive control and emotional abuse. Lisa found herself in her 20s, isolated from her friends and family, and stuck in a situation she felt she couldn’t escape. It wasn’t until Lisa met her now-husband that she felt safe enough to leave.
