Episode 23 - Carnival Lights and Midnight Frights at Bushkill Park and Opryland

Step right up… if you dare. In this episode, we wander into the shadows of two once-beloved amusement destinations where the laughter faded... but something else lingered. First, we step inside the infamous Hall of Mirrors at Bushkill Park. What was meant to be a place of playful confusion has, over the years, become something far more unsettling. Visitors have reported reflections that move on their own, figures that don’t belong, and the creeping feeling that you’re not alone in the maze. Is it just tricks of light and glass… or something trapped behind the reflections, waiting? Then, we travel south to the ghostly remains of Opryland. Once a vibrant theme park filled with music, lights, and joy, its closure left behind more than just memories. Former employees and guests have shared eerie encounters... phantom footsteps, distant music echoing through empty spaces, and apparitions that seem tied to the park’s past. What happens when a place built on performance and illusion goes silent? From distorted reflections to echoes of a forgotten stage, this episode dives deep into the thin line between nostalgia and the paranormal. Turn off the lights, put on your headphones, and don’t look too closely behind you… you might not like what you see. Episode 21 - What Time Is It… and Did We Just Share a Dream?

In this episode, we investigate one of the most suspiciously normal questions you can ask in a dream: “What time is it?” In real life, it’s harmless. In a dream? Apparently it’s a great way to completely break reality. For some reason, asking the time while dreaming tends to make everything fall apart. Clocks show impossible numbers, phones glitch out, the environment starts acting weird, or the dream characters suddenly look at you like you just asked a question you were definitely not supposed to ask. Sometimes the dream just ends altogether, like someone pulled the plug on the whole thing. Naturally, people started testing it. Lucid dreamers use it as a kind of reality check, because dreams are notoriously bad at keeping time straight. Your brain can build entire cities while you sleep, but apparently running a normal clock is where it draws the line. But things get even stranger when you look at the stories people tell afterward. Some dreamers say when they ask the time, the people in the dream react with confusion… irritation… or straight-up panic. Almost like you broke a rule in a place that isn’t supposed to have rules. Which leads us into the much weirder side of the internet: shared dreams. The idea that two people might actually experience the same dream at the same time. From people who swear they’ve met each other in dreams, to eerie stories of people comparing details after waking up, we look at the strange overlap between dreaming, coincidence, and the human brain’s love of a good mystery. So tonight, if you find yourself dreaming and everything feels a little too real, try asking the simplest question you can think of. Just be prepared if the dream suddenly starts acting like you weren’t supposed to notice... Episode 20 - Shadows in the Hallways: Indiana State and Waverly Hills Sanatorium

Happy 20th episode! This week, we’re checking in… but we’re definitely not checking out. Grab your flashlights and your emotional support sage, because we’re wandering the haunted halls of Indiana State Sanatorium and Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Two places where tuberculosis checked in… and some spirits apparently never left. At Indiana State Sanatorium, we dig into the lingering energy of a place that once housed thousands seeking healing… and may now house something else entirely. Echoing corridors? Check. Phantom whispers? Obviously. Questionable life choices? Absolutely. We’re talking shadow figures, disembodied footsteps, rocks being pelted at your chrome dome (rude), and the infamous “Creeper” of Waverly Hills, a full-body apparition that crawls along the walls and ceilings like it pays rent there. HARD pass for Megan.  And because it’s us, we also: Mispronounce at least 12 words.Confidently state correct facts before immediately doubting ourselves.Laugh at the worst possible moments. It’s spooky. It’s chaotic. It’s historically unsettling. So if you love haunted history, creepy crawlers, and hosts who absolutely cannot read their own notes correctly, this episode is for you. Turn the lights down low… And maybe don’t listen alone. Send in your own creepy stories to twofilthyhorrorspodcast@gmail.com and follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
