When there's a medical emergency on a plane the crew usually asks if there's a doctor on board. During a flight over the weekend, it was TV's Dr. Oz who stepped in. He told Ann Mercogliano what happened. And she's the mother of five who went hiking last summer in Maryland and never came back. Later Rachel Morin's body was found near the trail. Now a suspect's been arrested and the victim's grieving mother says she is relieved to see justice for her daughter. Plus, it's been seven and a half years since Sherri Papini faked her own kidnapping. She did time in prison, ended up divorced and lost custody of her children to her now ex-husband. He's never spoken publicly about his ordeal...until now. His interview comes as we learn his ex-wife is claiming she's writing children's books. And she's got quite the social media after being dubbed the world's hottest scientist...now she's making headlines because she's been diagnosed with dengue fever. It's the moment the world has been waiting for and now it’s official. The palace is confirming that Princess Kate will make her first public appearance since her announcement in march that she is battling cancer. It will happen tomorrow during Britain’s Trooping of the Colour - celebrating King Charles' official birthday. And if it's not hot where you are, chances are it soon will be. At least 135 million people are expected to face temperatures approaching 100 in the next few days. Keeping safe - and keeping hydrated is crucial. Jim Moret reports on a couple who learned that the hard way when they went hiking. Plus, you'd like to think that if you were in harm's way - someone would come to your rescue. And in the case of a man who collapsed onto the subway tracks in New York, that someone was a tourist visiting the city. As Les Trent reports, he probably saved the man's life. And it can happen in an instant, one moment you're walking on the sand. The next, you find yourself sinking deep into quicksand. Here's what you need to know before heading to the beach this summer.

It's the high school graduation that's made headlines when a father rushed the stage to prevent his daughter from shaking the superintendent’s hand. The dad says she was bullied in school and the district handled it poorly. However, the superintendent is Black - prompting many to think it was racially motivated. Les Trent spoke with the superintendent. And he was backpacking around Europe, and as tourists do, he was trying to get the perfect panoramic photo of the Swiss Alps. Right after, he slipped and fell headfirst into a crevasse leaving him trapped 50 feet below! Plus, it was a horrific attack - a young mother bound, brutally beaten, and sexually assaulted in her home. The intruder was disguised with a creepy mask and he altered his voice to sound like batman. You may be shocked when you hear who he turned out to be. And the summer of 24 may be remembered for bugs. First there were cicadas, now it's mayflies!

Nearly three weeks after General Hospital star Johnny Wactor was fatally shot by catalytic converter thieves, there are still no suspects. In an effort to pressure authorities, the actors friends, family, and co-stars staged a march on city hall. And 30 years ago today, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were brutally slain. O.J. For the first time ever, the child of a sitting president is found guilty of criminal charges. After just three hours of deliberations, Hunter Biden was found guilty of purchasing and possessing a gun while using or addicted to narcotics. Will Hunter be sentenced to prison? Will his father pardon him? Les Trent begins our coverage. And how does the mother of Hunter Biden's out of wedlock daughter feel about the verdict? In the second part of our exclusive interview she tells Jim Moret she doesn't want to see the father of her child sent to jail. Plus, yesterday we told you about the three swimmers attacked by a shark near Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Inside Edition talks to a jet skier in the same area whose jet ski was attacked by a shark. And looking for a new sport that you might actually be good at? How about hobby horsing? Believe it or not its growing in popularity...there was even a push to include it in next month's Paris Summer Olympics.

The case has gone to the jury in Hunter Biden's federal gun trial - the president's son did not take the stand. Hunter Biden has pleaded not guilty. However, someone who is talking is the mother of Hunter Biden's daughter who was born out of wedlock. Although, she's five, Jim Moret reports - Lunden Roberts says President Biden still has not met his granddaughter. And beaches are back open in Florida after three people fell victim to shark attacks...in two separate incidents. Now, authorities are trying to determine if it was the same shark even though the attacks were miles apart. Plus, the rescue of four Israeli hostages over the weekend, including 26-year-old Noa Argamani whose kidnapping was seen around the world, has sparked hope others may also be brought home after eight months in captivity. Today we're seeing new video of the carefully crafted rescue operation…and we have insight from Rob O’Neill the former Navy SEAL credited with taking down Osama bin Laden. And how do you top being a part of the commemorative ceremonies marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day? How about marrying your sweetheart? Les Trent on the newlyweds whose combined age is nearly 200.
