    How do you give back to a community that offers so much? Through volunteerism! Let’s sit down with Denise Tucker in today’s episode of Through the Vine. You may know her as co-owner of The Treehouse Juice Bar, formerly HumaniTree House, but she is also the newly appointed executive director of the Greater Augusta Arts Council. Through her work with the Arts Council, she showcases the benefits of volunteering for both the individual and the organization that you serve. There are so many opportunities in our community, so we hope this episode will inspire you to reach out to your favorite organizations and lend a helping hand.

In Augusta, we are widely known for our featured golf course and The Masters for the first full week of April, but our community knows we have much more to offer. Through our conversations with Mrs. Childers, we learn of the many wonderful events that makes our Garden City a wonderful place to be. So, get out your calendars and mark the dates for these amazing opportunities to meet your community members and celebrate what Augusta is all about!
