He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, Tim Conway (Carol Burnett Show), four younger brothers and older sister. During his early career, he produced his own internet radio show and thanks to its popularity, he was offered an opportunity to host a radio talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, Conway’s show became famous for providing Southern Californian’s with a wide variety of entertaining topics including live police chases, Hollywood craziness, and sharing current events with a twist of humor. In 2009 when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined forces with KFI-AM 640, the No. 1 news/talk radio station in the country, to continue bringing his unique and comedic perspective to topics like politics, gambling, and more. Concert Etiquette...You a sitter or a stander?!

    – Cardi B Verdict + Naked Standoff + Olive Garden Surprise We kick things off with three wild stories making headlines. Cardi B has just been cleared in court—found not liable in a high-profile case that had fans buzzing. Then, chaos in the streets: a bizarre naked standoff that left police and bystanders stunned. And, because every rollercoaster of news needs a carb-filled ending, Olive Garden is back in the spotlight with a new offering that’s got social media split between endless breadstick joy and raised eyebrows.  Whip Around: The Conway Crew Cruises + Mega Ship Mania The Conway Crew checks in with travel fever. Demand for cruise vacations has never been hotter—so hot that cruise lines are hiking fees and sparking a passenger backlash. Meanwhile, the world’s largest megaship just set sail, towering over the seas like a floating city. It’s not just about ocean views anymore; it’s about water slides, skating rinks, and thousands of passengers packed into one massive ship. We’ll talk about whether this is the future of travel—or a floating nightmare waiting to happen. – Mark’s Chicago Concert Story + More on Mega Ships Mark shares his unforgettable night at the Chicago concert—music, memories, and maybe some audience antics. That leads us back to the headline travel story of the week: Royal Caribbean making history with the largest cruise ship ever built. But is “bigger” always better? We’ll dive deeper into why people are drawn to these floating resorts and why critics say they’re ruining both the oceans and the passenger experience.  – Concert Etiquette: Sitters vs. Standers Finally, a question dividing fans everywhere: what’s the proper etiquette at a concert? Do you sit politely and take it in—or stand, dance, and block the view of the people behind you? From stadiums to small theaters, the debate rages on. We’ll hear from the crew and callers—are you Team Sitter or Team Stander?

“From Friday Night Lights to Real-Life Hero: Coach Rescues Driver From Fiery Crash”

How often do you really wash your sheets and towels? It might seem like a small detail in your weekly routine, but in reality, it’s a cornerstone of health and well-being. Towels trap moisture, creating the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, mold, and even skin-irritating fungi. Sheets, meanwhile, quietly collect sweat, oils, dust mites, and allergens—layer by layer—night after night. Regular washing isn’t just about fresh scent or soft fabric; it’s about protecting your skin, your immune system, and your peace of mind. Joining us to remind us how quickly life can turn on a single decision is Pioneer High School defensive backs coach Paul Rifino, the third hero who saved Stefan Cabezas, known to us as “The Foosh.” When Stefan’s car flipped and caught fire on the busy 105 freeway, Rifino was among those who rushed in. He not only helped pull Stefan from the burning wreckage—risking his own life as flames threatened to engulf them all—but then directed freeway traffic to protect others from further disaster. In our conversation, Paul shares what it was like in those harrowing seconds: the scramble to flip the car upright, the urgent knowledge that the vehicle could explode at any moment, and the weight of watching Stefan fight for his life. He also speaks to Stefan’s courage in the face of unimaginable danger and how close they all came to tragedy. It’s a story that reminds us: small, consistent acts—like washing your sheets and towels—protect us in quiet ways, while acts of extraordinary bravery—like Paul Rifino’s—can change the course of a life in an instant.

    Is Vegas Really Dead?

We kick things off with the heatwave and the age-old mistake—why do we always seem to save the hottest days for yard work? While sweating through chores, there’s one thing on everyone’s mind: the Powerball jackpot has soared to a staggering $1.3 billion. People are lining up at gas stations, and one lucky Sherman Oaks station matched five numbers, earning a cool $1 million. But the real question is—what if it were you? We’ll share some practical tips for managing an overnight fortune, from protecting yourself from sudden “long-lost relatives” to making sure you don’t blow it all before tax season. Next, Conway reveals his fast-food hacks—clever little tricks to save money, score secret menu items, and stretch your dollar without sacrificing taste. From extra-large sodas for pocket change to burger build-arounds, these are insider moves every hungry driver will want to hear. Meanwhile, a rainstorm is sweeping through Southern California and several neighboring states, bringing relief to some, chaos to others. We’ll look at what to expect on the roads, how it impacts fire danger, and why even a little rainfall can wreak havoc on SoCal infrastructure. And then we check in with Richie, who takes us to Sin City. Las Vegas is scrambling to win back visitors after a tourism slump—driven in part by high prices. Casinos and resorts are starting to roll out fresh deals and incentives to lure people back. But will cheaper packages be enough to offset the billion-dollar Powerball buzz drawing attention elsewhere? Speaking of which, the jackpot just keeps climbing after no grand prize winner was named. It’s already up to $1.3 billion, making it one of the largest in history.
