    JERRY PALM (PalmBrackets.com) The college basketball season is winding down and we finally have some time to focus on it with less than a week left in the regular season, so it’s time for our annual chat with Jerry. He’s a Purdue Boilermaker, so we have to start with his thoughts on rival Indiana suddenly being a football school. Is CBB feeling very top-heavy this year? Looking at the potential March Madness brackets, is there any seed lower than a 3 that would have a chance to win it all? How impressive is this freshman class? And Remember the days when college basketball players stayed for 3 or 4 years? Sigh… How are the Zags looking heading into March and what will that loss at Portland cost them? Who are some sleepers we should keep our eye on? :30- IAN FURNESS joins the show on the heels of the Kraken’s first game back after the Olympic break, a 4-1 loss in Dallas. Last night’s game was a dud, but it wasn’t surprising to Ian, so he’s not worried. Now, if the same thing happens tonight against a bad Blues team, then we might have a problem. The Kraken have been streaky all season long, is Ian worried about that continuing?     Headlines and 12th Man News with GREGG BELL (Tacoma News Tribune) Seahawks head coach Mike MacDonald spoke to the media yesterday, so what did we learn? The post-Super Bowl feeling is surreal and Harbaugh has high praise. How in-sync are Schneider and MacDonald when it comes to free agency and draft picks? How much of a priority is it for the Seahawks to bring Woolen and Josh Jobe back? How many of the Seahawks’ 6 free agents will return? No, the Seahawks have not been invited to the White House and if they do get the invite, they will go. :30- It’s time for What Chuck learned at Spring Training part 6! Cole Young may be starting at 2nd base coming out of spring training, but it is clear that this organization wants to see both Young and Colt Emerson in this lineup at some point this season. None of these young guys will be on the team if they aren’t ready, so they’d have to be showing out to get the call up. If both Emerson and Yong are in this lineup, then who is out? Raley? Canzone?     It was a rough night for the Kraken in Dallas… All of our experts have stressed the importance of a good start for the Kraken coming out of the Olympic break and last night’s 4-1 loss to Dallas was anything but good. Tonight they head to St Louis and the Blues are not good- can they right the ship on the road and avoid the streaky play we’ve been seeing all season long? :30- The Pajama Party workouts begin today at noon and we will have our eyes on some key people. If Boye Mafe really is done wearing a Seahawks uniform, we should have our eyes on some possible replacements who are working out today. :45- Yes, the college basketball season is almost over, but for a lot of us it is just beginning.
