    Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard)

    Today's guest is a true Broadway and cabaret legend, Karen Mason! Karen has played some of musical theater’s most iconic roles. She originated the role of Tanya in Mamma Mia!, starred as the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland, and was part of the final Broadway company of Hairspray as Velma von Tussle. She’s also taken on one of musical theater’s most coveted leading roles, Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, serving as standby for Glenn Close, Betty Buckley, and Elaine Paige. Now, Karen is continuing to share that wealth of experience with the next generation of performers through A Cabaret Performance Workshop at 92Y, where she’ll be teaching and mentoring artists on October 2nd and 3rd.     Lencia Kebede (Wicked, Hamilton)

    Julia Lester (Into the Woods, High School Musical)

    Today’s guest is the one, the only, Julia Lester! Julia is a Tony Award nominee for her role as Little Red in the most recent revival of Into the Woods. She broke onto the scene as Ashlyn in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and has lived a true Hannah Montana life, bouncing between the stage and screen.     Kelli Barrett (Beaches, Parade, Wicked)

    Kelli Barrett is a seven-time Broadway veteran whose credits include Wicked, Beaches, Parade, Doctor Zhivago, Baby It's You!, & more! Beyond Broadway, you may have seen her on TV portraying Liza Minnelli in Fosse/Verdon or alongside Sutton Foster in Younger. One of the things I admire most about Kelli is that she refuses to put her creativity in a box. She's an accomplished actress, but she's also an interior designer, a certified life coach, and even designed her own opening night look for Beaches. For Kelli, creativity isn't limited to the stage, it's woven into every part of her life. We dive into Beaches, where Kelli originated the role of Bertie on Broadway opposite Jessica Vosk's CeCe Bloom, but most of all, this conversation is about building a creative life without limits. Kelli has one of the most grounded perspectives on this industry I've ever encountered.     Leana Rae Concepcion (Spelling Bee, Merrily We Roll Along)

    Leana Rae Concepcion is currently starring as Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, now playing Off-Broadway at New World Stages. Before stepping into Spelling Bee, she was part of the celebrated Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez. In this episode, Leana reflects on the leadership lessons she learned from that extraordinary company, offers an honest look at the financial realities facing Broadway artists today, and shares how her portrayal of Marcy Park reimagines a beloved character for a new generation.
