Elis and Dave take on John’s challenge of backing the riff till they can back it no more, of riffing until they’re all riffed out. It’s a riff marathon and you’ve got front row seats. When the riffing’s been done, there’s a listener complaining about the catchiness of one of the show’s jingles, and Elis gets excited about how many Welsh players have played for Everton. For Elis and Dave both have tales of struggling to get out of Wembley, and John wonders which of his awards would be best suited to beating off an intruder.
