Firefighter Challenge League

The FCL pits elite firefighters from around the world against each other – and the clock. The athletes enter the skills-based challenge course known as the LION® Arena of the Brave to compete Five Essential Functions – High-Rise Pack Carry, Hose Heist, Forcible entry, Hose Advance, Victim Rescue – and the competitor with the best time within each division wins. It all begins on April 16th at the season opener in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    We had many guests come in from Semmes Fire, each with their own topics! Chief Brooks, Semmes Fire – Who We Are Chief Horton – Regional Training Center, working with The AFC and surrounding volunteer departments. Fire Service Driver Arron Aguillard – Community Risk Reduction Firefighter Paramedic Seth Baumgarten – Seth’s Story and Role with Recruitment with Local High School Liz Lovelady City Official – Basic Information and history of the city of Semmes as well as importance of supporting Police and Fire.
