Cabral Gold Moves Into Production With 50+ Targets Still Untested | Alan Carter

Alan Carter, CEO of Cabral Gold, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss how first production at the Cuiú Cuiú Gold District in Brazil is changing the company’s growth outlook. Speaking on September 25, 2026, Carter said Cabral had brought its Phase 1 oxide operation into production two months ahead of schedule and expected roughly 25,000 ounces of gold in its first 12 months. The July 2025 PFS outlined all-in sustaining costs of about $1,210 per ounce using a $2,500 gold price. With gold substantially higher, Carter said, “The operation next year should throw off about 75 million US dollars in free cash,” potentially allowing Cabral to accelerate repayment of its gold loan. Cabral is also planning to double Phase 1 capacity from 3,000 to 6,000 tonnes per day, advance a PEA on the larger Phase 2 hard-rock project and update its global resource by year-end. Six deposits are now being modeled, with more than 50 additional exploration targets across Cuiú Cuiú. On September 30, Cabral announced that it had completed its first gold sale, selling more than 2,400 ounces at an average net realized price above $4,200 per ounce. The company said the project remained on time and on budget for commercial production in Q4 2026. Copper Giant Plans to Scale Mocoa Without a Massive Upfront Build | Ian Harris

Ian Harris, President & CEO of Copper Giant, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss how the billion-tonne Mocoa copper-molybdenum project in Colombia is moving from resource growth toward development. Copper Giant is targeting more than 23,000 meters of drilling in 2026 as it works to upgrade Mocoa’s resource ahead of a pre-feasibility study. Before that, the company expects to deliver its first PEA in Q4 2026, testing multiple development scenarios including a phased approach intended to reduce upfront capital requirements while allowing the project to expand over time. Mocoa hosts a 1.12-billion-tonne inferred resource containing approximately 12.7 billion pounds of copper equivalent. Harris also discusses Colombia’s changing political environment and why he believes a new window has opened for large strategic-metal projects. In August 2026, Copper Giant announced a 10-year offtake agreement with Trafigura covering 20% of future copper and molybdenum concentrate production, adding another strategic element as Mocoa advances. Sitka Gold Says 5.1 Moz RC Gold Project Is on Majors’ Radar | Cor Coe

Cor Coe, CEO of Sitka Gold, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss the next phase of the RC Gold Project in Yukon, which currently hosts more than 5.1 million ounces of gold across three deposits. Speaking on September 24, Coe said Sitka expects its 60,000-metre 2026 drill program to significantly expand the resource as it advances Blackjack, Rhosgobel and Eiger and tests additional targets. “We expect it to dramatically increase the resource,” he said. Sitka is targeting an updated mineral resource estimate in Q1 2027, with a preliminary economic assessment potentially following in the first half of the year. “This is an inflection point for us. We're still an explorer, but we've gotta look at the development potential too of the project,” Coe said. He also confirmed that major mining companies have visited RC Gold as the project has grown, while Sitka could undertake another 60,000 metres of drilling in 2027 alongside its economic studies. On October 8, Sitka said it had completed more than 56,000 metres in 135 holes during 2026, with assays pending from 79 completed holes. Fortuna Mining Plans $650M Growth Push Funded From Cash Flow | Jorge Ganoza

Jorge A. Ganoza, CEO, Director and Co-Founder of Fortuna Mining, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Mining Forum Americas to discuss the company’s plan to grow toward approximately 500,000 gold equivalent ounces a year by 2028. Speaking on September 28, Ganoza said Fortuna expects roughly 60% production growth over the next 18 months through the Séguéla expansion in Côte d’Ivoire and development of Diamba Sud in Senegal. The company plans to invest about $650 million in growth and exploration over the next two years. “Instead of financing these expansions, we're funding them through cash flow and cash on hand,” Ganoza said. He also said Fortuna is in no rush to pursue aggressive M&A because its near-term growth is already in the portfolio. The company returned more than $100 million through share buybacks in the first half of 2026, and Ganoza said Fortuna could revisit a dividend as construction advances. Beyond 2028, Fortuna is also looking to projects such as Quartzstone in Guyana to seed its next phase of growth. On October 7, Fortuna reported Q3 production of 69,665 gold equivalent ounces and maintained 2026 guidance of 281,000 to 305,000 GEO. The company also confirmed Séguéla’s 30% plant expansion, targeting annual production above 200,000 ounces from the second half of 2028, while Diamba Sud continues toward a Q4 final investment decision and first gold in Q2 2028. U.S. Investment & FAST-41 Put Trilogy Metals on Path to 2028 | Tony Giardini

Tony Giardini, CEO of Trilogy Metals, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss the U.S. government’s investment in Trilogy and the push to advance Alaska’s Ambler Mining District. Speaking on September 25, Giardini said the U.S. Department of War’s $35.6 million strategic investment was significant beyond the capital itself. “I think for us it's really about not so much the quantum that we've received, but the validation that we have from the US government in terms of making the investment and participating,” he said. The transaction closed on September 11, leaving the U.S. government with approximately 9.1% of Trilogy and directing the proceeds toward Ambler Metals, Trilogy’s 50/50 joint venture with South32. The Arctic Project formally entered NEPA review on September 21 under FAST-41, with a draft EIS targeted for October 2027 and a Record of Decision in September 2028. Giardini says Trilogy is also working toward completing definitive feasibility work around that time, potentially setting up a 2028 investment decision. The proposed 211-mile Ambler Road remains critical to development. The U.S. government has committed to help facilitate financing, while Giardini says the current expectation is that mine users would ultimately pay for the road through tolls. He also discusses litigation risk, renewed exploration at Bornite and further district-scale opportunities beyond Arctic. G3 Goldfields Targets Another Major Guyana Gold Discovery | Daniel Noone

Daniel Noone, CEO of G3 Goldfields, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss the new Guyana-focused explorer created from the G2 Goldfields transaction with G Mining Ventures. G3 was spun out with C$45 million in cash, the Peters Mine, Tiger Creek and other Guyana exploration assets, plus contingent rights worth up to US$200 million tied to future resource growth on properties transferred to G Mining. Noone says Peters will be the first major focus, with an initial 5,000 to 10,000-meter drill program planned along a mineralized trend extending roughly four kilometers. Scout drilling completed in 2025 returned 76 meters at 1.50 g/t gold, including 16.5 meters at 5.0 g/t. Noone says the team plans to apply lessons from the Oko discovery and believes Peters could advance toward a meaningful resource within 12 to 18 months if the geological model holds. “We need something that moves the dial,” he says. G3 also plans work at Tiger Creek and Aremu West, while improved regional infrastructure could further reduce exploration costs. Special thanks to our sponsor, Newcore Gold. Gold Miners Are Leaving Value on the Table in M&A | Warren Irwin

Warren Irwin, President & Chief Investment Officer of Rosseau Asset Management, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss gold’s long-term outlook, why mining equities continue to lag, and where stronger gold prices may be masking risk across the sector. Irwin says it is “pretty easy to call 10,000 gold” over the long term as government spending and currency debasement continue, although he makes no prediction on timing. He argues gold equities remain dependent on fund flows and could benefit if capital eventually rotates away from crowded technology trades and back toward real assets, particularly if higher bond yields begin putting more pressure on the broader equity market. But Irwin warns that a stronger gold price can also cover mistakes. He says a 30% project IRR is now close to the minimum he would accept given gold-price volatility, rising CapEx and operating costs, and cautions that every strong cycle produces mines that “should never be built.” On M&A, Irwin argues major miners often wait too long to acquire development projects, allowing juniors to capture much of the value created during construction while exposing buyers to greater build risk later. AbraSilver Targets 19M Oz Silver in Peak Production Year | John Miniotis

John Miniotis, President & CEO of AbraSilver, joins Kitco Mining’s Paul Harris at the 2026 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss how the Diablillos silver-gold project in Argentina is moving rapidly from exploration into development. AbraSilver now has a 454-million-ounce silver-equivalent Measured & Indicated resource, environmental approvals from both Salta and Catamarca, RIGI approval and a completed definitive feasibility study. The company is advancing early works and engineering ahead of a targeted Q2 2027 final investment decision, while evaluating debt, streaming and a limited equity component to finance the roughly $722 million initial build without unnecessarily diluting shareholders. Exploration is continuing alongside development through a 15,000-meter drill campaign, with further resource growth still targeted. Miniotis says Diablillos could reach 19 million ounces of silver in its peak production year, while the feasibility study outlines AISC of about $20 per silver-equivalent ounce over a 25-year mine life. AbraSilver is also advancing a heap-leach study as another potential source of project upside, with first production targeted before the end of 2029. Special thanks to our sponsor, Newcore Gold.
