The Valenti Show Audacy

Mike and Rico get the show started by deviating from what they had originally planned to talk about the Red Wings and how they would have fared in the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Rangers. They question the direction of the franchise and the job Steve Yzerman has done. Then, the guys transition into NFL Draft talk, which they stick to for the majority of the rest of the show. They ask who your biggest "crush" is for the Lions to take and why you have fallen in love with that specific player. 

The guys continue the Lions draft "crush" conversation into the final hour of the show, reading plenty of your ticket texts on who you want Detroit to take at 29th overall. The guys get into "RAS" scores and go back and forth on draft talk before David and Kenny (!!!) "join" the guys before their bridge show into Tigers baseball. 

The guys kick off the second half of the show continuing their conversation on your biggest Lions' NFL Draft "crushes". They read some more of your ticket texts on the topic before Valenti brings back an old segment, where he names some players and Rico, David, and Kenny guess who they are. This time, it's an NFL Draft bust edition, and a special one at that, as Mike has some Steelers, 49ers, and Lions players. Then, Rico revisits a topic from last week regarding his ongoing issues with college athletics. 

Rico has more of a bone to pick with college athletics stemming from an experience where he went to MSU's spring game that included players who have since transferred. 

Mike introduces an old segment and comes prepared with multiple draft busts from the Lions, Steelers (for David), and 49ers (for Rico). The guys all try to guess who he's talking about. 

Mike and Rico kick off hour two of the show continuing their focus on the NFL Draft by asking the people what their biggest draft "crush" is for the Lions. They take your calls and read your ticket texts on which unrealistic players you want Brad Holmes to draft in the first round. Then, David goes through some of the biggest rumors going into the NFL Draft this year.
