New fan from down under
Hi crew,
I’m a sports journo from down under and have always been more of a casual football fan. I loosely grew up supporting Newcastle United, but couldn’t stomach the Crown Prince takeover, so decided to find a new team. After a decent think and look around, last year I landed on Brighton (over Brentford), mainly due to a cleaner and more interesting ownership structure, a bit of recent Aussie connections and it’s clearly a group doing a lot of the right things on and off the pitch right now. It’s been an absolute privilege to support this team and it’s reinvigorated my interest in football. Your authentic pod production is a part of the supporter process that I have added to my week, so just wanted to let you all in on that. Appreciate your efforts!
